The daily temple activities (Nithyotsavam) at KAILASA HOUSTON are foundational to the spiritual mission, providing the structured Hindu rituals necessary for devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. On October 19, 2024, the temple celebrated the Vilakku Puja, a special ritual conducted every Saturday by the Sangha Jananis. This ritual commitment showcases extraordinary devotion, having been upheld continuously for more than 300 weeks. The integrity of the ritual performance was meticulously maintained through the selfless service of 1 volunteer dedicated to the daily operations of the temple.

The Vilakku Puja centers on the deep spiritual symbolism inherent in the traditional Hindu lamp. As taught by THE SPH, the 'Vilakku' (Lamp) is revered as the living symbol of Devi Maha Lakshmi, the Deity of Abundance, Wealth, and Prosperity.
