14th September 2023 - The KAILASA Delegation proudly participated in the Agroecology Theme Day, a highly significant event held within the framework of the Science Summit during the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). This monumental gathering transpired at the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza in New York City.

The central theme of this event revolved around "Prospects for achieving equitable food systems through agroecology." Notable experts delivered keynote presentations:
Fergus Sinclair, co-convenor of the Agroecology TPP and Chief Scientist at CIFOR-ICRAF.
Dr. Jemimah Njuki, Chief of Economic Empowerment, UN Women.

A distinguished panel discussion enriched the dialogue, featuring prominent figures:
H.E. Ambassador Gabriel Ferrero y de Loma-Osorio, Chair of the UN Committee on World Food Security (CFS), Spain.
