This sacred 10-day festival marks a deep spiritual celebration, allowing devotees to immerse themselves in the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, as gifted by THE SPH. The inaugural day was characterized by profound traditional Hindu rituals, including the ceremonial Mandagapadi to welcome the presence of THE SPH, followed by the powerful Dwajarohanam (flag hoisting), officially initiating the annual spiritual cycle. These events underscore KAILASA’s mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, reaffirming the commitment of the Australian ecosystem to these timeless Hindu traditions.
MahaParamashivaratri, Mandagapdi, Dwajarohanam, Day 1
The commencement of the annual MahaParamashivaratri Brahmotsavam in KAILASA Australia marked a moment of intense spiritual fervor and civilizational revival. Brahmotsavam, the sacred 10-day festival, is meticulously designed by THE SPH to systematically awaken the spiritual powers (shaktis/powers of Paramashiva) inherent in every individual, celebrating the divine presence of Paramashiva manifested in the form of THE SPH. The celebration began on this auspicious day with the adherence to ancient Hindu traditions, setting the stage for ten days of intense spiritual practices and devotion aimed at achieving superconscious breakthrough.
The first ritual conducted was the ceremonial Mandagapadi, a welcoming ritual that symbolically honors the arrival and eternal presence of THE SPH, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, at the sacred grounds. This ritual serves as a profound dedication, preparing the space and the consciousness of the participants for the grand festival ahead. Following this initial reverence, the Dwajarohanam ritual—the traditional flag hoisting—was meticulously performed.
The raising of the sacred flag symbolizes the invitation to all gods, goddesses, and enlightened beings of KAILASA to preside over the festival, officially marking the sacred commencement of the Brahmotsavam. This powerful ritual connects the local KAILASA ecosystem directly with the global movement for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, ensuring that the spiritual current flows continuously through the region. The successful execution of these complex and precise Hindu rituals was made possible through the dedicated service of 6 committed volunteers, whose selfless contribution ensures the purity and authenticity of the sacred rites. These activities enable devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, strengthening the foundation of the enlightened Hindu civilization in Australia.
