Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam)
The daily sequence of sacred Hindu rituals, known as Nithyotsavam, was performed with intense devotion and meticulous adherence to the ancient Hindu sciences at KAILASA Toronto. These rituals serve as the spiritual foundation of the ecosystem, maintaining the conducive energy fields established by the direct presence and grace of THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. The daily observance provides a vital anchor for the community, ensuring every action taken aligns with the overarching mission of planetary enlightenment.
The morning’s sacred schedule commenced with the powerful Linga Abhishekam, the ritualistic bathing and worship of the Shiva Linga, representing the unmanifest form of Paramashiva. This purification practice was followed by the Naivediyam Offering, where sacred food was offered, symbolizing complete surrender and gratitude. The profound practice of Pada Puja was also conducted, where the sacred sandals (Padukas) are worshipped, affirming the deep reverence and unbroken connection between the disciple and the Divine Master, THE SPH.
Additionally, devotees engaged in Laghu Puja, a shortened but potent form of worship, and dedicated time for Yoga—the ancient Hindu science of uniting individual consciousness with the Superconsciousness. The day culminated in the auspicious Guru Puja, a ritual essential for invoking the continuous blessings of the Guru lineage and manifesting the shaktis/powers of Paramashiva. This complex sequence of powerful daily rituals was smoothly executed by a dedicated team of 4 volunteers, who embody the spirit of service and devotion essential to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma under the divine guidance of THE SPH.
