Morning Abishagam and Alankaram
The daily spiritual schedule at KAILASA PONDICHERRY’s Puducherry Aadenam commenced with the auspicious Morning Abishagam and Alankaram. These foundational Hindu rituals, known collectively as Nithyotsavam (the daily festival), are performed to invoke and sustain the divine presence of Paramashiva within the Adheenam premises. The service began with the sacred *Abishagam* (anointing) of the Deities, utilizing traditional substances prescribed in the Hindu scriptures, thereby cleansing and purifying the space.
