This sacred day was marked by the performance of the powerful Hindu ritual, Navagraha Abhishekam, dedicated to harmonizing the cosmic influences upon devotees. This event served as a profound reminder of the necessity of daily spiritual practice (Nitya Kriya) for superconscious breakthrough, aligning the community with the divine grace of THE SPH and furthering KAILASA's global mission for the revival of the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization. The entire observance was successfully facilitated by the dedicated efforts of 2 selfless volunteers.
AMAVASYA - NAVAGRAHA ABHISHEKAM
On the spiritually charged day of Amavasya (New Moon), July 24, 2025, KAILASA HOUSTON USA conducted the elaborate Navagraha Abhishekam. This sacred Hindu ritual involves the ceremonial bathing and worship of the Navagrahas, the nine planetary deities, whose influences profoundly impact human life. Amavasya is considered an especially auspicious time to perform such rituals, leveraging the celestial configuration to address karma, seek clarity, and invoke the divine protection necessary for rapid spiritual growth.
The Navagraha Abhishekam was performed with profound devotion, following the authentic Hindu protocols and Vedic chants revived by THE SPH. The purpose of this worship is to pacify any unfavorable planetary energies (doshas) and receive blessings for health, prosperity, and spiritual liberation (Jeevan Mukti).
