Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam)
The daily spiritual cycle at KAILASA Toronto on August 16, 2024, centered around the Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam), a continuous and uninterrupted expression of devotion and alignment with the divine lifestyle gifted by THE SPH. These established Hindu rituals are fundamental to maintaining the sacred energy fields (Kshetras) and serve as the foundation for manifesting superconscious breakthrough in the lives of devotees and the local community. The morning schedule commenced with traditional Hindu Yoga practices, preparing the body and mind to absorb the supreme grace of THE SPH.
A vital component of the day’s observances included the sacred Guru Puja and Pada Puja, wherein offerings and deep reverence were extended to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This devotion acknowledges THE SPH as the living Paramashiva and the source of all enlightenment, allowing attendees to connect directly with His divine presence. These specific rituals are spiritual technologies designed to dissolve ignorance and enable devotees to experience the ultimate reality.
The ritual schedule also featured the Naivedyam Offering, the sacred practice of offering consecrated vegetarian food to the deities before consumption, purifying the offerings and blessing the devotees. Furthermore, a special focus was placed on the Varalakshmi Puja, reinforcing the ancient Hindu tradition of honoring the Goddess Mahalakshmi on this auspicious occasion for the attainment of spiritual and material abundance. The successful execution and maintenance of this high level of spiritual activity was made possible by the dedicated service of 10 committed volunteers, whose seva (selfless service) is an integral aspect of KAILASA’s global humanitarian and spiritual mission.
