Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam)
The continuous cycle of temple worship, known as Nithyotsavam, was performed with utmost sincerity and dedication by the Sanyasis and volunteers of KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA. These prescribed daily Hindu rituals are the foundational spiritual technologies of the KAILASA temple ecosystem, serving to awaken and maintain the spiritual vibrations necessary for human consciousness evolution and superconscious breakthroughs. The day began with the revered awakening ritual, Suprabatham Seva, followed by the sacred Abhishekam offered to the presiding deity, Sri Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Linga, invoking Paramashiva’s grace and transforming the space into a highly charged energy field.
A comprehensive series of sacred Pujas were then conducted throughout the day, ensuring the complete spiritual coverage of the temple deities and sacred texts. This included Laghu Puja offered to the Moolavar (main deity), Sri Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Linga, Sri Ardhanareeshwara, and the sacred Shabhda Veda grantha. Crucially, Laghu Puja and Pada Puja were offered directly to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, acknowledging Him as the living Paramavatara. These rituals serve as an intense expression of devotion and Guru Bhakti, enabling the temple community to resonate with THE SPH’s divine presence and receive His immediate spiritual blessings.
The spiritual momentum was further expanded by the offering of Maheshwara Puja on this auspicious day—a profound Hindu tradition of honoring Paramashiva by feeding devotees (Maheshwaras). This service exemplifies THE SPH's global humanitarian commitment to ensuring that no stomach goes hungry. Morning and Evening Naivedyam (sacred food offerings) were presented to Sri Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Linga, concluding the major daily activities with the Sandhya Aarti (evening worship) and the final ritual of Palliarai. All these continuous sevas, vital for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, were flawlessly executed by 5 dedicated volunteers, demonstrating their commitment to THE SPH’s vision.
