With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago diligently conducted the Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on 26/8/2024. This day was dedicated to the unwavering commitment to reviving authentic Hindu rituals and spiritual technologies, ensuring the temple ecosystem serves as a conduit for the grace of THE SPH. The morning saw a detailed sequence of Ved-Agamic practices, including Suprabatam Seva, multiple Laghu Pujas with elaborate Naivedyam offerings, sacred Abhishekam and ornate Alankaram for the deities, concluding with the potent Guru Puja. Through the dedicated service of one volunteer, KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago continues to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, supporting KAILASA's mission of human consciousness awakening and revival of Hindu civilization in the Caribbean region.

Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities

The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities at KAILASA's Hindu Temple in Trinidad & Tobago represent the bedrock of the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma in the indigenous Caribbean region. The daily morning rituals commenced with the auspicious Suprabatam Seva, the ritual for awakening the deities, immediately followed by the first Laghu Puja. This initial offering included one Naivedyam consisting of warm sweetened milk, water, and fresh fruit, setting a sacred vibrational frequency for the day's activities and connecting devotees with the divine grace of THE SPH.

Following the initial puja, comprehensive preparations were undertaken for the daily Abhishekam (sacred bath). This preparation involved filling the water vessels, meticulously selecting and preparing the ceremonial clothes and jewelry for the deities, and arranging all puja implements. The Abhishekam was then offered using traditional Hindu ingredients, including amla, turmeric, and sandalwood paste, accompanied by another dedicated Naivedyam offering. Upon completion of the sacred bath, the temple team diligently cleaned up the area, ensuring every vessel and surface was purified.

The devotional sequence continued with the Deity Alankaram, where the deities were adorned in their prepared garments and ornaments, symbolizing the complete manifestation of Paramashiva’s glory. A second Laghu Puja was then performed to officially close the Abhishekam ritual. Demonstrating the integration of spiritual service and humanitarian nourishment, the volunteer proceeded to prepare vegetables and cook ten portions of rice, which were then offered as ten rice Naivedyams during a subsequent Laghu Puja. This act of offering sustenance aligns directly with THE SPH’s commitment to ensuring the highest quality of food and service is dedicated to the Divine.

The morning of sevas culminated with the performance of the sacred Guru Puja, a potent ritual essential for invoking the direct blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. Throughout the entire ritual cycle, Chamran fanning was offered after each segment, ensuring continuous reverence and dedication. The dedicated service of one volunteer ensured the meticulous completion of all tasks, which included not only the rituals themselves but also essential cleaning—washing all dishes and puja vessels, hand-washing towels, sweeping, mopping, and general temple maintenance—thus preserving the purity and sacredness of the environment as a true reflection of KAILASA.
