With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Salem conducted its daily Nithyotsavam (Daily Rituals) on August 31, 2024. The auspicious day centered around the profound observance of the Rudrabishekam, a powerful Hindu ritual dedicated to Paramashiva in His fierce yet compassionate form as Rudra. This daily spiritual commitment reflects KAILASA’s unwavering dedication to the revival of the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu Dharma, providing a sacred space where devotees can regularly connect with and channel the immense grace of THE SPH. Rudrabishekam—Auspicious Daily Rituals and Neivedyam Pooja
The Rudrabishekam is one of the most powerful and purifying Hindu ceremonies, integral to the daily schedule (Nithyotsavam) at KAILASA Salem. This sacred ritual involves the ceremonial bathing (Abhishekam) of the Shiva Linga or the image of Rudra with a variety of purifying and auspicious substances. Dedicated to purifying the devotee’s mind and soul, removing negative energies, and granting protection from obstacles, the Rudrabishekam is performed under the direct guidance and grace of THE SPH.
The ritual commences with the dedicated chanting of the Rudram, a profound Vedic hymn that praises and invokes the power of Rudra. Following the chanting, the Abhishekam process is meticulously performed, involving the offering of panchamrita (the sacred blend of milk, yogurt, honey, sugar, and ghee), along with pure water, milk, and various other consecrated items. Offerings are also made using natural elements such as bilva leaves and fresh flowers, many of which are sourced through the center’s integrated horticulture efforts, linking the spiritual practice with sustainable, conscious living.
