Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago performs the Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities as part of the Nithyotsavam, embodying the commitment of THE SPH to reviving authentic Hindu worship across the globe. These Ved-Agamic rituals are foundational to creating a powerful, sacred ecosystem that allows devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The dedicated service on September 11, 2024, required meticulous preparatory steps, which were expertly handled by one devoted volunteer, ensuring that every detail—from the filling of water for the Abhishekam to the preparation of vestments and vessels—was attended to with care.
The sacred morning schedule commenced with the initial Laghu Puja accompanied by naivedyam offerings of milk, fruits, and water, symbolizing devotion and unconditional nourishment. This was followed by the potent Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing of the deities. Specific auspicious offerings such as amla, turmeric, and sandalwood pastes were used in the bathing process, which cleanses not only the deities but the surrounding atmosphere. After the conclusion of the Abhishekam, the deities were prepared for Alankaram, where they were lovingly dressed and adorned with sacred jewelry, enhancing their divine presence.
Following the main rituals, a second Laghu Puja was offered to conclude the Abhishekam segment. The service proceeded with the preparation of fresh vegetables and ten portions of rice Naivedyams, which were presented to the deities during a subsequent third Laghu Puja. A grand total of 15 Naivedyams were offered during the morning rites, honoring the divine presence. Throughout the ritual sequence, the tradition of offering Chamaram Fanning was respectfully observed, symbolizing service and royal veneration. The entire ritual cycle culminated with the powerful Guru Padhuka Puja, connecting the Sangha directly to the divine grace and supreme enlightenment of THE SPH.
The commitment of the Sangha ensures that the sacred space remains pristine, radiating auspiciousness to the entire community. Following the ceremonial rites, necessary cleanup and maintenance activities were thoroughly performed, including the washing of all dishes and puja vessels, conducting an inventory of supplies, and ensuring the temple floor was swept and mopped. These continuous, dedicated services ensure that KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago operates as a potent center for spiritual awakening, upholding the commitment of THE SPH to the preservation of ancient indigenous traditions through the revival of KAILASA—the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilizational nation.
