KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES represent the core commitment of KAILASA to maintain the authentic spiritual ecosystem of the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, keeping the presence of Paramashiva continuously alive in the temple space. These rigorous Hindu rituals, categorized as a daily Utsavam, were meticulously performed with the dedicated service of two volunteers, ensuring the flawless execution of all services and ceremonies throughout the day.
The cycle of worship commenced in the early morning with Suprapatam Seva, the sacred process of ritualistically awakening the presiding deities. This practice symbolizes the necessity of awakening the inner divinity within every devotee, preparing them to seek the blessings of THE SPH and Paramashiva at the start of a new day. Following the awakening, the aesthetic and reverential service of Bhoga Murty Alankaram was performed, where exquisite clothing and jewels were offered to the deities of THE SPH, Devi, and Shiva Meru, followed by the grand Deity Procession that welcomed the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area.
The centerpiece of the day’s worship included the potent Guru Puja dedicated to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and the Shiva Puja offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar). These Hindu spiritual technologies were performed in both the morning and evening, acting as a powerful medium for connecting devotees directly to the source of enlightenment, enabling them to manifest the shaktis/powers of Paramashiva in their lives.
In alignment with THE SPH’s mission of human consciousness evolution, devotees also gathered during the auspicious Brahmamuhurta time to engage in higher spiritual practices. This included performing the Nithyananda Yoga sequence, specifically the 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama, alongside Nithya Dhyan Meditation. These practices prepare the physical and inner bodies for receiving the divine grace of THE SPH. The complete cycle of daily temple rituals was concluded in the evening with Naivedhyam (the ritual offering of food to all deities) and the culminating Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the deities to rest using the traditional Chamaram, affirming the devotion and complete surrender to the divine being.
