The auspicious Monday was marked by the profound performance of the Somavara Abhishekam, a powerful Hindu ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva, demonstrating KAILASA's commitment to the authentic revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. Somavara Abhishekam
The Somavara Abhishekam is a consecrated ritual meticulously performed every Monday, a day specifically dedicated to Lord Shiva (Paramashiva). As part of the ongoing Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam) at KAILASA Salem, the ceremony involves offering a special Abhishekam, or sacred bath, to the Shiva Lingas installed in the temple. This sacred bath utilizes various auspicious materials such as milk, honey, ghee, yogurt, and other prescribed substances, symbolizing devotion, purification, and gratitude to the Divine.
