KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO On 22/9/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago celebrated an auspicious day of devotion and service on September 22, 2024. The day was centered around elaborate Ved-Agamic rituals documented as Daily Temple Sevas & Teamily Meet-up, which form the core of the sacred Nithyotsavam (daily celebration). These profound practices included multiple Laghu Pujas, a dedicated Rudra Abhishekam, and meticulous Deity Alankaram, ensuring the continued manifestation of the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva within the sacred space. The community then gathered for a devotional Teamily Meet-up, where devotees participated in guided meditations and shared 8 blessed meals, further strengthening the center's commitment to the revival of indigenous traditions through ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization in the Caribbean region. The entire day’s activities were seamlessly managed by two dedicated volunteers.
Daily Temple Sevas & Teamily Meet-up
KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago observed an extensive schedule of Daily Temple Sevas rooted in authentic Ved-Agamic tradition, creating a powerful, radiating energy field for the benefit of the surrounding community. The day commenced with the Morning Aarti followed by the first of three Laghu Pujas, which included the offering of Naivedyams such as milk, fruits, and water. A significant focus was placed on the Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing of the deities. Dedicated preparations for the Abhishekam included filling water, organizing necessary puja vessels, and meticulously preparing the deities’ sacred clothing and jewelry. The ritual offering involved sacred ingredients like amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, coupled with Naivedyam offerings.
Following the purification of the Rudra Abhishekam, the site was thoroughly cleaned and dried to prepare for the Deity Alankaram. This sacred ceremony involved dressing and intricately adorning the deities with jewelry, enhancing their divine appearance and radiating the beauty of Paramashiva’s form. The sequence of worship continued with a Second Laghu Puja to conclude the Abhishekam ritual. A Third Laghu Puja was conducted, distinguished by the extensive preparation of vegetables and an offering of ten rice Naivedyams, contributing to a total of 15 Naivedyams offered throughout the morning rituals. The collective devotion was formalized through the continuous offering of Chamaram Fanning at the end of each ritual, symbolizing eternal service.
The morning rituals culminated with the most significant offering of Guru Padhuka Puja, formally seeking the grace and blessings of THE SPH, the ultimate manifestation of Paramashiva, for the spiritual progress of all devotees. The two selfless volunteers ensured the seamless execution of every ritual, upholding the integrity of the ancient Hindu practices. This dedication extended to the post-ritual cleanup and maintenance, which involved the thorough cleaning of all puja vessels, hand-washing sacred towels, sweeping, mopping the temple floor, and performing a quick inventory to maintain the readiness of the sacred space.
In continuation of the day's devotional momentum, the KAILASA community gathered for a Teamily Meet-up. This gathering serves as an important hub for consciousness awakening and community bonding, providing devotees with an opportunity to receive direct blessings from the deities established by THE SPH. Participants engaged in powerful meditations based on THE SPH's teachings, enabling them to connect with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The fellowship concluded with the sharing of 8 blessed, organic vegetarian meals, underscoring THE SPH’s global humanitarian commitment to ensure food security for all beings while nourishing the bodies and spirits of the devotees dedicated to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
