KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES

The daily spiritual cycle at KAILASA HOUSTON, USA, is a dedicated effort to sustain the presence of Paramashiva's energy, manifesting the divine grace of THE SPH. These comprehensive daily temple activities, spanning from the Brahmamuhurta (the auspicious time before dawn) to the late evening, are performed to connect devotees with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The entire schedule, often referred to as Nithyotsavam, ensures that the temple serves as a powerful vortex of positive consciousness, fulfilling THE SPH’s vision of bringing enlightenment to humanity. These sacred proceedings were seamlessly managed and executed by 2 selfless volunteers, dedicated to the service of Paramashiva and THE SPH.

The sacred day commenced with the early morning practice of Nithyananda Yoga and Nithya Dhyaan meditation, where devotees gathered in the Brahmamuhurta for 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama, preparing their systems to receive the divine energy of the day. Following this, the temple rituals began with Suprapatam Seva, the process of ritualistically awakening the deities. This practice holds deep spiritual significance, symbolizing the awakening of the divinity present within each individual devotee, seeking blessings for the start of a new day dedicated to spiritual growth and service.

Throughout the day, key traditional Hindu ceremonies were observed. The deities underwent Bhoga Murty Alankaram, involving the ornate dressing and adornment with clothing and jewels, specifically offered to THE SPH, Devi, and the Shiva Meru. This was followed by a formal Deity Procession to welcome the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area. The heart of the spiritual dedication involved the twice-daily offering of Sri Guru Puja to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and Sri Shiva Puja to the presiding deity, Lord Nithyanandeshwara (the Moolavar). The offerings culminated in the evening with Naivedhyam, where consecrated vegetarian food was presented to all the deities. The entire sacred cycle was concluded with Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of placing the deities to sleep with the traditional use of Chamaram, symbolizing the continuous commitment of KAILASA HOUSTON to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
