With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago conducted the daily Nithyotsavam (Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities) on 11 October 2024. These sacred Hindu rituals and committed seva activities are foundational to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and the preservation of ancient indigenous traditions in the Caribbean region. The day’s activities were meticulously carried out by dedicated volunteers, ensuring the maintenance of the sacred space and the continuous flow of divine energies, embodying the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The comprehensive schedule included Rudra Abhishekam, Deity Alankaram, and Guru Padhuka Puja, culminating in the offering of 15 Naivedyams to the deities and Guruparampara, radiating peace and prosperity to the community.

Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities

The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities, observed as Nithyotsavam, marked a powerful continuation of the daily spiritual regimen established by THE SPH at the Hindu Temple in KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago. These Ved-Agamic Rituals serve to honor the deities and maintain a powerful, sacred ecosystem that radiates the divine cosmic energy, fulfilling THE SPH's vision of awakening human consciousness globally. The spiritual day commenced with Morning Aarti and the first Laghu Puja, during which initial Naivedyam offerings of milk, fruits, and water were presented to the deities.

The core focus of the morning rituals was the meticulous execution of the Rudra Abhishekam. Preparation for the Abhishekam was exhaustive, involving filling water, preparing sacred clothing and jewelry, and organizing all necessary puja vessels. The ritual bathing of the deities included the potent offerings of amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, complemented by dedicated Naivedyam offerings. Upon completion of the Abhishekam, the area was cleaned and dried, followed by the highly sacred Deity Alankaram, where the deities were dressed and exquisitely adorned with jewelry, enhancing their divine appearance and signifying profound reverence for Paramashiva.

The continuous cycle of service and worship was maintained by one committed volunteer throughout the duration of the sevas. A second Laghu Puja was offered, including another Naivedyam to formally conclude the Abhishekam proceedings. This was followed by the preparation of vegetables and the cooking and offering of 10 special rice Naivedyams during a third Laghu Puja, contributing to a grand total of 15 Naivedyams offered throughout the morning. The spiritual culmination of the sevas was the Guru Padhuka Puja, connecting devotees to the divine grace of THE SPH and manifesting the powers of Paramashiva.

Beyond the formal rituals, essential Sangha maintenance was conducted, demonstrating the principle that service is devotion. This vital support work ensures the pristine cleanliness necessary for a high-vibration environment. Activities included cleaning all dishes and puja vessels, conducting a quick inventory of kitchen supplies for necessary replenishment, hand-washing towels used during the rituals, and sweeping and mopping the temple floor. Through this dedicated and seamless integration of ritual worship and practical seva, KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago actively demonstrates its commitment to the revival of the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization in the region.
