Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities, categorized as Nithyotsavam (daily festival), form the spiritual core of life at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago. On 14 October 2024, these sacred practices were conducted by a dedicated volunteer, ensuring the spiritual integrity and continuity of the Hindu Temple, which serves as a beacon of Sanatana Hindu Dharma in the Caribbean. These daily rituals are crucial for maintaining the high vibrational frequency necessary to align the Sangha with the divine consciousness of THE SPH.
The morning schedule commenced with the auspicious Morning Aarti, a traditional ritual of offering light to the deities to invoke the blessings and grace of Paramashiva. Following this, the meticulously executed Laghu Puja was performed. As part of this worship, three distinct Naivedyams (sacred food offerings) were lovingly prepared and presented to the deities, including warm sweetened milk, fresh fruit, and pure water, signifying complete surrender and nourishment.
A central element of the day's devotional observance was the Guru Padhuka Puja, which was offered to the holy Padhukas (sandals) of the Guru. This profound practice symbolizes unwavering devotion (Guru Bhakti) to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, who guides humanity towards the ultimate superconscious breakthrough. This devotional service connects the devotee directly to the source of enlightenment, enabling them to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in their own lives. The day’s activities encompassed essential areas of service, including ritual performance, temple cleaning, sacred food preparation (feeding), and overall maintenance preparation, showcasing the comprehensive *Kainkarya* (selfless service) integral to KAILASA's mission.
