Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam)
The daily spiritual schedule at KAILASA KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, is deeply rooted in the ancient Hindu science of Nithyotsavam, ensuring the constant presence and worship of the divine as taught and exemplified by THE SPH. This unbroken daily observance is a profound expression of devotion, reflecting the tireless efforts of THE SPH to revive authentic, tradition-based Hindu rituals. The ceremonies commenced early in the morning, establishing a sacred space conducive to manifesting the shaktis/powers of Paramashiva. The key initial elements of the daily worship included the reverent Paduka Puja—honoring the holy sandals of THE SPH—and the powerful Shiva Puja, followed by the illuminating Arathi ritual, marking the beginning of the day’s services.
A significant aspect of the day’s worship was the elaborate Abhishekam (sacred bathing) performed for the Bhogamurthy (the deity used for daily services). This ritual is vital for rejuvenating the divine energy of the deity and ensuring it is continuously receiving adoration and service. Following the bathing, the crucial daily offering ritual, Naivedyam, was meticulously prepared and offered three times throughout the day to five principal deities enshrined within the Mandir, sustaining the continuous divine presence.
The scheduling of the offerings maintained the traditional Hindu structure of service, treating the deities as living presences deserving of daily nourishment: 8:45 AM for the morning meal, 11:45 AM for the lunch offering, and 7:15 PM for the dinner offering. This precise maintenance of sacred time is central to Hindu spiritual technology. The sacred cycle of the day concluded at 8:45 PM with the ritual of inviting the deities to rest, signifying their transition to the nightly repose. This dedication to scheduled service highlights the depth of Hindu wisdom and enables devotees to connect with the grace of THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, serving as a pillar for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
