KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO On 18/10/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO dedicated October 18, 2024, to intensive spiritual service through the Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities (Nithyotsavam). This auspicious day was marked by the performance of comprehensive Ved-Agamic rituals, including Rudra Abhishekam, Deity Alankaram, and Guru Padhuka Puja, ensuring the continuous manifestation of the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in the region. These sacred duties, carried out by dedicated Sanyasis and volunteers, reaffirm KAILASA's commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and the preservation of ancient indigenous traditions in the Caribbean, radiating peace and prosperity to the local community.
Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
The day commenced with an extensive series of Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities (Nithyotsavam), meticulously performed according to authentic Hindu temple tradition and the standards set by THE SPH. These Ved-Agamic rituals are essential for honoring the deities and creating a powerful sacred ecosystem that aligns devotees with the divine grace of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA. A dedicated volunteer ensured the smooth and flawless execution of the entire schedule, which began promptly with the sacred Morning Aarti, followed by the initial Laghu Puja with offerings of milk, fruits, and water.
Central to the morning service was the preparation and offering of the Rudra Abhishekam. This involved rigorous preparatory tasks, including readying the holy water, garments, and intricate jewelry for the deities, and organizing all necessary puja vessels and materials. The Abhishekam offerings included purifying substances like amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, complemented by a Naivedyam offering. Following the ritual bathing, subsequent cleanup and drying, the deities underwent the elaborate Deity Alankaram, where they were dressed and adorned with sacred jewelry and garments, enhancing their divine presence within the temple.
The spiritual services continued with a second Laghu Puja offered specifically to conclude the Abhishekam ritual. This was followed by the meticulous preparation of vegetables and the cooking and offering of ten rice Naivedyams during the third Laghu Puja. In total, 15 Naivedyams were offered throughout the morning rituals, symbolizing deep devotion and surrender to Paramashiva and THE SPH. The devotional service culminated with the sacred Guru Padhuka Puja dedicated to the divine feet of THE SPH, invoking His continuous presence and blessings for the entire community. Throughout all rituals, the symbolic Chamaram Fanning was performed, honoring the presence of the divine.
Beyond the ritualistic duties, critical cleanup and maintenance activities were performed by the dedicated volunteer. This involved cleaning all puja vessels and dishes, hand-washing towels used during the rituals, and thoroughly sweeping and mopping the temple floor to maintain the sanctity and cleanliness of the divine space. These exhaustive daily sevas are vital to KAILASA's mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, serving as a beacon of consciousness awakening and preserving indigenous traditions through the manifesting of the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
