Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities (Nithyotsavam) conducted at the KAILASA Hindu Temple in Trinidad & Tobago are fundamental to maintaining the sacred presence and ensuring the environment is conducive for devotees to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. These daily services embody the essence of Karma Yoga, where every action is dedicated to the divine and contributes to the smooth, continuous functioning of the enlightened ecosystem as envisioned by THE SPH.
The day’s schedule commenced with the auspicious Morning Aarti, a ritual that invokes the presence and blessings of the deities installed by THE SPH. This was followed by the detailed Laghu Puja, a traditional Hindu worship rite involving the meticulous cleansing (abhishekam) and adornment (alankaram) of the deities. A total of 3 distinct naivedyam offerings were sacredly presented during the puja, including warm sweetened milk, fresh fruit, and consecrated water, symbolizing the holistic nourishment provided by KAILASA to both the Divine and humanity.
A significant component of the morning rituals was the Guru Padhuka Puja, which was offered to the sacred Guru Padhukas of THE SPH. This offering is crucial for channeling the divine grace and direct presence of the Paramavatara, enabling devotees in the region to connect with THE SPH’s enlightenment science. The sevas required comprehensive engagement in temple maintenance, covering ritual performance, cooking for the offerings, preparation, cleaning, and alankaram, demonstrating the profound commitment inherent in service (seva) within KAILASA.
The consistent execution of these profound Ved-Agamic duties was made possible through the dedication of 1 committed volunteer. This focused service ensures the continuous revival of ancient Hindu rituals and traditions, aligning directly with KAILASA's mission to preserve ancient indigenous traditions in the Caribbean through the restoration of the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilizational nation.
