KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO On 21/10/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago successfully conducted comprehensive daily temple rituals, known as Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on 21 October 2024. These intensive Ved-Agamic practices, including Rudra Abhishekam, elaborate Deity Alankaram, and Guru Puja, ensured the continuous flow of divine grace within the temple ecosystem. The dedicated service of the local Sangha, demonstrated through rigorous cleaning, cooking, and ritual offerings—including a total of 15 Naivedyams—reaffirmed KAILASA’s global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and awakening human consciousness in the Caribbean region. These sacred activities are central to enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
The daily spiritual schedule at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago commenced with intensive Ved-Agamic rituals dedicated to honoring the deities and maintaining the sacred space as part of the daily Nithyotsavam. The morning included the fundamental Morning Aarti followed by a Laghu Puja featuring sacred offerings of milk, fruits, and water. A significant focus was placed on the Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing of the deities. This vital ritual required meticulous preparation, involving the filling of water, organizing specific puja vessels, and readying the clothes and jewelry for the divine forms. The Abhishekam itself was performed using traditional purifying substances such as amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, along with the preliminary Naivedyam offering, symbolizing purification and the invocation of the Shiva Tattva.
Following the ritual purification, the deities were transformed through the sacred ceremony of Deity Alankaram. The deities were meticulously dressed and adorned with intricate jewelry in this sacred ceremony, enhancing their divine appearance and radiating auspiciousness into the community. The ritual cycle continued with a second Laghu Puja which included another Naivedyam offering, formally concluding the Abhishekam sequence and preparation. The subsequent rituals included a third Laghu Puja where ten specific rice Naivedyams (cooked vegetable and rice offerings) were prepared and offered, ensuring a total of 15 Naivedyams were presented throughout the sacred morning schedule.
The devotional service culminated with the Guru Padhuka Puja, an offering of deep reverence and gratitude to THE SPH, the source of all grace and enlightenment and the ultimate manifestation of Paramashiva. The continuity and dedication of these sevas were upheld by 1 dedicated volunteer, who committed to the rigorous schedule of ritual preparation, execution, and extensive post-ritual maintenance. This maintenance included cleaning and drying the ritual area, cleaning all dishes and puja vessels, hand-washing towels used during the rituals, sweeping and mopping the temple floor, and conducting a quick inventory of supplies to ensure continuous functionality. This tireless dedication ensures the powerful spiritual ecosystem of the temple continuously radiates the divine grace of THE SPH, embodying KAILASA’s mission in the region.
