KAILASA TRINIDAD & TOBAGO On 30/10/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago celebrated Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities on October 30, 2024. These daily spiritual observances, known as Nithyotsavam, are central to KAILASA’s global mission of reviving the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and preserving ancient indigenous traditions. The day was dedicated to performing elaborate Ved-Agamic rituals, including Rudra Abhishekam, sacred Deity Alankaram, and Guru Puja, all performed with profound devotion to secure the continuous flow of divine grace. Supported by the dedicated service of the Sangha, who meticulously offered 15 Naivedyams (sacred food offerings) to the deities, these rituals create a powerful spiritual ecosystem, enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities
The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities conducted at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago are the bedrock of the temple’s spiritual functioning, ensuring the authentic practice of ancient Hindu rituals as gifted by THE SPH. The day commenced with Morning Aarti, setting a sacred atmosphere, immediately followed by a comprehensive Laghu Puja which included offerings of milk, fruits, and water. These initial acts of worship are vital in preparing the consecrated space and the devotees for the profound rituals to follow.
A significant focus of the morning was the preparation and execution of the Rudra Abhishekam, the ritual bathing of the deities. This involved meticulous preparatory activities, including filling ritual water vessels, preparing the sacred clothing and jewelry, and organizing all necessary puja items. The Abhishekam itself included auspicious offerings such as amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath materials, alongside a Naivedyam offering. After the sacred bath, the area was thoroughly cleaned and dried, preparing the deities for the subsequent adornment ceremony.
Following the purification of the deities through the Abhishekam, the crucial Deity Alankaram ceremony took place. During this sacred process, the deities were reverently dressed and meticulously adorned with jewelry, enhancing their divine appearance and radiating palpable spiritual energy. The entire morning culminated in a second Laghu Puja and, most importantly, the sacred Guru Padhuka Puja, offered with gratitude to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.
The continuous cycle of service included the dedicated preparation of ten rice Naivedyams and accompanying vegetables, which were cooked and offered during a third Laghu Puja. In total, 15 Naivedyams were offered, symbolizing the complete surrender and nourishment provided to the Divine. The dedication of the Sangha was further evident in the rigorous cleanup and maintenance schedule performed by 1 volunteer. This included cleaning all dishes and ritual vessels, conducting an inventory of kitchen supplies, hand-washing towels used during the rituals, and thoroughly sweeping and mopping the temple floor. These dedicated acts of service and maintenance uphold the sanctity and purity required to manifest the state, space, and being of Paramashiva, strengthening KAILASA’s global commitment to civilizational revival.
