KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The daily spiritual cycle at KAILASA HOUSTON commenced with profound devotion, dedicated to sustaining the sacred energy required for human consciousness awakening. These rigorous daily Hindu rituals, collectively known as Nithyotsavam, embody the ancient Hindu tradition of temple worship as revived and enriched by THE SPH. The activities began in the early morning Brahmamuhurta with Suprapatam Seva, the sacred process of awakening the deities. This practice symbolizes the awakening of the divinity present within every devotee, setting an auspicious tone for the day and invoking the continuous blessings of THE SPH. The devotional efforts saw the dedicated service of 2 volunteers who ensured the seamless and authentic execution of these complex rituals, providing essential service to the divine mission.
Following the awakening, the Bhoga Murty Alankaram was performed, involving the ritualistic dressing and adornment of the deities—including THE SPH, Devi, and the Shiva Meru—with sacred clothing and jewels. This was followed by the Deity Procession, where the Bhoga Murthy deities were reverentially welcomed into the temple area in a grand, ritualistic manner. The core of the day's worship involved the morning and evening performances of Guru Puja offered to THE SPH, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and Shiva Puja offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar). These continuous offerings reinforce the spiritual sovereignty of KAILASA and its dedication to honoring the Guru-Disciple tradition as the foundational spiritual technology for enlightenment.
The full cycle of daily worship ensures the constant flow of divine grace throughout the community. In the evening, the Naivedhyam offering ritual was conducted, presenting sacred vegetarian food to all the resident deities. The day concluded with the profound Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the deities to rest using the Chamaram (fly-whisk). This meticulous dedication to Hindu rituals ensures the temple remains a potent source of spiritual energy for the global Hindu community.
Beyond the traditional temple activities, devotees dedicated time in the Brahmamuhurta for special offerings of spiritual technologies gifted by THE SPH, including the practice of Nithyananda Yoga through the 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama, and Nithya Dhyaan Meditation. These consciousness-based practices are vital for enabling participants to deepen their connection with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, directly fulfilling KAILASA's mission of reviving Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
