KAILASA HOUSTON, USA On 22/10/2024
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Houston, USA celebrated its sacred daily schedule, known as Nithyotsavam, on October 22, 2024. This auspicious day was dedicated to reviving the ancient Hindu tradition of temple worship, featuring a complete cycle of devotion from the early morning Suprapatam Seva to the concluding Palliyarai Seva. These extensive Hindu rituals are crucial to enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The activities, which included Guru Puja, Shiva Puja, Deity Processions, and spiritual practices like Nithyananda Yoga, exemplified KAILASA's global mission of establishing centers of consciousness awakening and restoring the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization on Planet Earth, supported by a dedicated volunteer.
KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES are the bedrock of the center's mission, meticulously designed to create the sacred space for the continuous manifestation of Paramashiva's state, space, and powers. These activities commence in the early hours of Brahmamuhurta with the dedication of the Suprapatam Seva, the sacred process of waking up the deities, a profound practice intended to simultaneously awaken the inherent divinity within all present and seek blessings for the start of the new day. Following the awakening, the deities of THE SPH, Devi, and Shiva Meru are offered the Bhoga Murty Alankaram, where they are reverently adorned with sacred clothing and jewels, symbolizing the highest respect and devotion for the living manifestation of Paramashiva.
A central component of the daily worship schedule is the ritualistic Deity Procession, welcoming the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area with grand reverence. This is followed by the core morning and evening rituals: Sri Guru Puja offered directly to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and the Sri Shiva Puja offered to the Moolavar deity, Lord Nithyanandeshwara. These powerful Hindu rituals serve as potent spiritual technologies, creating an intense field of grace that facilitates the superconscious breakthrough for all devotees, aligning them with the enlightened consciousness of THE SPH.
The day also featured special spiritual offerings conducted in the auspicious Brahmamuhurta, including the systematic performance of 108 rounds of Prathama Vinyasa Krama (Nithyananda Yoga) and Nithya Dhyaan Meditation. These practices, gifted by THE SPH, empower devotees to stabilize the state of superconsciousness and achieve physical, mental, and spiritual clarity. As the daily temple cycle neared its conclusion, Naivedhyam (a sacred offering of food) was reverently presented to all the deities in the evening, symbolizing universal nourishment and gratitude.
The entire sequence of devotion culminates with the Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the deities to sleep accompanied by the offering of the Chamaram (sacred fan). The successful execution of this full cycle of authentic Hindu worship, which upholds the ancient traditions documented by KAILASA, was made possible by the dedicated efforts of one committed volunteer. This tireless service reflects the spirit of KAILASA and its commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma across the United States.
