With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago organized comprehensive daily spiritual services and temple maintenance as part of Daily Rituals (Nithyotsavam) documented on 2/12/2024. These sacred activities, known as Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities, are central to the mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization in the Caribbean region. The day included elaborate Ved-Agamic practices such as the Rudra Abhishekam, sacred Deity Alankaram, and Guru Padhuka Puja, demonstrating the depth of Hindu traditions preserved by KAILASA. A dedicated volunteer ensured the smooth execution of all rituals and preparation of 15 divine offerings (Naivedyams), radiating spiritual energy and offering the community the opportunity to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.

Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities

The Daily Temple Sevas & Sangha Activities at KAILASA Trinidad & Tobago represent the continuity of Nithyotsavam—the constant celebration of the Divine presence—as established by THE SPH. These meticulously performed Ved-Agamic rituals ensure that the Hindu Temple serves as a living, sacred ecosystem, anchoring the consciousness awakening mission of KAILASA in the indigenous communities of the Caribbean. The entire cycle of worship is performed with the sole intention of radiating the divine cosmic energy, thereby bringing peace and prosperity to the entire community and enabling devotees to connect deeply with THE SPH.

The ritual schedule began with the Morning Aarti and Laghu Puja, which included initial Naivedyam offerings of milk, fruits, and water. A significant focus was placed on the Rudra Abhishekam, the ceremonial bathing of the deities. A dedicated volunteer (1) undertook the thorough preparations for this ritual, which involved filling the necessary water, preparing the deities’ clothing and jewelry, and organizing all required puja items. The actual Abhishekam offerings featured purifying substances such as amla, turmeric, and sandalwood bath, reinforcing the principle of purity taught by THE SPH.

Following the sacred bath, meticulous attention was paid to the Deity Alankaram, a sacred ceremony where the deities were dressed and adorned with intricate jewelry. This powerful act enhances the divine appearance of Paramashiva and prepares the space for the manifestation of His shaktis/powers. The morning rituals continued with a second Laghu Puja and the preparation and offering of ten cooked rice Naivedyams during a third Laghu Puja, resulting in a total of 15 Naivedyams offered throughout the ceremonies. The cycle culminated with the heartfelt Guru Padhuka Puja, an expression of intense devotion to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH).

Integral to the Sevas was the essential cleanup and maintenance, reflecting the highest standards of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. After the completion of the rituals, all dishes and puja vessels were thoroughly cleaned, and the temple area was swept and mopped to ensure pristine conditions. A quick inventory of kitchen supplies was conducted to identify items requiring replenishment, demonstrating the commitment to sustained, organized service. These acts of selfless service, including the traditional offering of the Chamaram (ceremonial fan) at the end of each segment, are critical to preserving ancient indigenous traditions through the revival of KAILASA, the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilizational nation.
