With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA SEATTLE USA observed the sacred day of Thaipoosam on 10/2/2025. This auspicious day was dedicated to intense seva (selfless service) and profound Hindu rituals, affirming KAILASA’s tireless commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The entire day revolved around traditional temple practices, commencing with Suprabatham and concluding with Palliarai Seva, ensuring continuous devotion and connection to the enlightenment ecosystem established by THE SPH. These sacred activities, supported by 4 devoted volunteers and attended by 11 participants, also included educational outreach sessions like Vaakyartha Sadas and Paramashiva Dhyana Mantra sessions, furthering KAILASA's mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity by enabling devotees to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
Thaipoosam Seva and Rituals
The observance of Thaipoosam at KAILASA SEATTLE USA was steeped in ancient Hindu temple tradition, marking a day of focused seva and divine remembrance of the Guru's grace. The morning commenced with the highly sacred Suprabatham Seva, the ritualistic process of respectfully waking the Moolavar deities, followed immediately by the offering of Morning Naivedhyam (sacred food offerings). These daily practices anchor the temple environment, maintaining the high spiritual frequency required to function as an authentic Hindu temple established directly under the guidance of THE SPH.
As the day progressed, the center focused on honoring THE SPH, the living Paramashiva. Morning PPP (Pratyaksha Pada Puja) was offered to THE SPH, symbolizing eternal gratitude and devotion. On the specific occasion of Thaipoosam, special DDNA (Deity Daily Nithyananda Anushtana) rituals were performed, offering deep worship to THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.
