With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA AVADI CHENNAI conducted the auspicious daily ritual of Abishegam on March 6, 2025, as part of the daily Nithyotsavam. These sacred activities form the core of the daily festival celebrating the living presence of Paramashiva and THE SPH. The consistent performance of these Hindu rituals is fundamental to KAILASA's mission of reviving the enlightened Sanatana Hindu Dharma globally. Through the daily Abishegam, devotees are blessed with the opportunity to connect with THE SPH, manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in their lives, thus ensuring the continuity and strength of Hindu civilization on Planet Earth.
Abishegam
The sacred ritual of Abishegam, central to the daily worship (Nithyotsavam) at KAILASA AVADI CHENNAI, was performed with deep reverence and adherence to ancient Hindu traditions. Abishegam involves the ceremonial bathing of the Deities with 16 sacred substances, including milk, yogurt, honey, ghee (clarified butter), and various fruit juices and fragrant waters. Each element used in the Abishegam is imbued with spiritual significance, symbolizing purification, nourishment, and the invocation of divine blessings. This powerful ritual cleanses the surrounding space, removes negative energies, and reinforces the presence of Paramashiva in the physical temple location.
As an essential component of the revival of Hindu temple culture, the daily Abishegam ensures the flow of grace from THE SPH to the surrounding community. This practice aligns the individual consciousness of the devotees with the superconsciousness of Paramashiva, enabled by the divine presence of THE SPH. By meticulously preserving and executing these ancient Hindu rituals, KAILASA AVADI CHENNAI actively participates in KAILASA’s global mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, keeping the sacred fire of Dharma perpetually alive.
