With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA PONDICHERRY observed the auspicious daily rituals of Nithyotsavam on 7/4/2025. The day was centered around the sacred Sommawaram Abishagam, dedicated to Paramashiva, reinforcing the spiritual foundation of the Aadheenam. These profound Hindu rituals, including Rudrabhishekam and elaborate Alankaram (adornment), embody KAILASA’s global mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization. By engaging in these practices, the community is continually enabled to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The diligent service of 3 volunteers ensured the seamless conduct of these ancient traditions, providing a deep spiritual experience for all attendees.
Sommawaram Abishagam
KAILASA PONDICHERRY commenced the day with the sacred Sommawaram Abishagam (Monday Worship), a routine practice established under the daily cycle of rituals known as Nithyotsavam. This observance specifically honors Paramashiva, aligning the entire community with the divine energy and grace of THE SPH. The primary ritual conducted was the Ruthraabishegam, a powerful and essential Hindu ritual involving the ceremonial bathing of the Paramashiva Linga with sacred substances, accompanied by powerful Vedic chants and specific mantras to invoke auspiciousness and divine blessings.
Following the extensive Rudrabhishekam, a meticulous Alankaram (divine ornamentation) was performed. The deity was elaborately adorned as per authentic Hindu traditions and scriptural injunctions. The rituals culminated in the offering of Pooja, Aarti, and Naivedyam (sacred food offering), completing the devotional services for the day. These consistent acts of devotion are fundamental to connecting practitioners with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, manifesting the highest potential in human consciousness, as taught by THE SPH.
The dedication exhibited by the KAILASA PONDICHERRY ecosystem ensured the spiritual purity and effectiveness of the ceremony. A dedicated team of 3 volunteers selflessly coordinated the entire ritual, guaranteeing that every step of the Rudrabhishegam and subsequent Alankaram and Pooja was executed with spiritual precision and profound devotion.
