KAILASA HOUSTON USA On 25/7/2025
With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOUSTON USA devoutly observed the auspicious occasion of the second week of the AADI VELLI celebrations on Friday, July 25, 2025. This sacred utsavam (festival) is dedicated to honoring the Divine Mother, Devi, and securing Her grace during the powerful Hindu month of Aadi, a period traditionally dedicated to Shakti worship. The ceremonies featured specific Hindu rituals, most notably the exquisite Lemon Alankaram (adornment) for Devi Angala Amman, performed by the dedicated volunteers of the center. These devotional practices align directly with KAILASA's global mission of giving superconscious breakthrough to humanity through reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization, ensuring that the ancient spiritual technologies for connecting with the Divine Feminine remain vibrant and accessible in the West.
AADI VELLI
The second Friday (Velli) of the holy Hindu month of Aadi was celebrated with great fervor and piety at KAILASA HOUSTON USA, continuing the tradition established and revived by THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. The month of Aadi is considered supremely auspicious for invoking the energies of the Divine Mother, as it marks the time when the Devi’s power is most potent on Earth. The observance of AADI VELLI rituals helps devotees receive the protection, prosperity, and spiritual breakthroughs offered by the Mother Goddess, enabling them to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
The primary focus of the observance was the worship of Devi Angala Amman, a fierce and benevolent manifestation of Shakti. The rituals centered around an intricate Lemon Alankaram, where the murti of Devi Angala Amman was elaborately adorned with garlands and decorations made exclusively from lemons. This specific adornment is a deeply symbolic Hindu ritual believed to cleanse negative energies, grant powerful blessings, and attract immense divine grace. The visual splendor of the deity in the Lemon Alankaram inspired deep devotion among attendees, creating a charged spiritual space.
The successful execution of this intricate ritual was facilitated by the dedication of the KAILASA Houston team, with 2 devoted volunteers working together to conduct the ceremony and maintain the sacred space. Such consistent and authentic practice of Hindu rituals in KAILASA centers globally underscores the sovereign nation's commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma worldwide. By meticulously preserving and presenting these ancient spiritual technologies, KAILASA HOUSTON USA honors the vision of THE SPH to awaken the ultimate consciousness in every human being.
