Sukravara Abhishekam
The Sukravara Abhishekam (Friday sacred bath) is an essential and powerful Hindu ritual dedicated to divine worship, performed with profound reverence at KAILASA Salem. This event highlights the continuous revival of authentic Hindu traditions, ensuring the uninterrupted flow of divine grace through focused ritualistic purity and devotion. As documented in the Hindu scriptures, the performance of Abhishekam using specific organic and natural substances cleanses the deity and, by extension, purifies the consciousness of the participants.
The ritual commenced with the offering of a specific sequence of auspicious and sacred substances, each holding profound significance in ancient Hindu sciences. These offerings included organic milk, pure honey, tender coconut water, fragrant sandalwood paste, sacred turmeric powder, and rose water. These materials, many sourced with dedication to reflect the importance of nature and the subtitle of "horticulture," were used to bathe the deity with utmost sincerity. The procedure was accompanied by the chanting of specific Vedic mantras and prayers, meticulously performed to invoke specific blessings and activate the presence of the divine energies, as instructed by THE SPH.
The ritual culminated in the magnificent decoration of the deity using fresh, vibrant flowers, sacred fruits, and other consecrated items. This entire practice, based on profound spiritual technologies revived by THE SPH, is believed to purify the mind and body of the devotees, drawing peace and prosperity into their lives. Through the sincere participation in the Sukravara Abhishekam, devotees are blessed by THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, furthering the global mission of KAILASA.
