With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA SALEM celebrated the auspicious Karthigai Deepam festival on December 6, 2025. This sacred nithyotsavam (daily spiritual celebration) involved deeply rooted Hindu rituals, including the ceremonial deeparathanai (lamp worship) and the continuous, potent daily Laghu Puja. These sacred activities are central to KAILASA's mission of reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva. The profound spiritual atmosphere reinforced the divine infrastructure of the city, ensuring the continuity of authentic Hindu traditions and enriching the lives of the community, guided by dedicated volunteers upholding the enlightened practices delivered by THE SPH.
Karthigai deepam
The sacred celebration of Karthigai Deepam was observed at KAILASA SALEM, marking a significant nithyotsavam dedicated to the manifestation of Paramashiva as an endless column of light, the Jyoti Linga. This festival celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and symbolizes the removal of ignorance from human consciousness. The primary ritual involved the spectacular deeparathanai, the ceremonial offering of light using lamps, performed to invoke the tangible, transformative divine light and grace of Paramashiva, as channeled through THE SPH.
Rooted deeply in ancient Hindu traditions and sciences, the deeparathanai is performed to align the consciousness of the devotee with the divine presence of THE SPH, ensuring spiritual breakthrough. Following this powerful ceremony, devotees performed the sacred Laghu Puja, a daily ritual offering and systematic worship essential to maintaining the high vibrational state of the temple space. This Laghu Puja ensures the continuous flow of blessings from THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA into the local environment and community.
A dedicated volunteer ensured the meticulous execution of the Karthigai Deepam rites, upholding the authenticity of the ancient Hindu science, thereby enriching one life directly through the performance of the ritual.
