This sacred Hindu harvest festival, known as an utsavam, marks the beginning of prosperity and abundance, serving as a powerful ritual for expressing gratitude for the cosmic energies supporting life. The celebration was a profound demonstration of KAILASA’s global mission dedicated to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and ancient Hindu traditions, manifesting the divine vision of THE SPH in North America. PONGAL CELEBRATION

The Pongal Celebration held at KAILASA HOUSTON was conducted as a sacred Hindu ritual, aligning with the ancient practices prescribed in the Hindu scriptures for welcoming the harvest season and honoring the Sun God (Surya).
