Ārati is not only performed as a ritual but also a technique to awaken the third eye. The Archavatara (Divine energy in the idol) to whom the Ārati is being performed is decorated beautifully, the lights and lamps in the room will be turned off, making the room dark. In this setting the Ārati is performed. The devotee who is witnessing the Ārati begins seeing bits and pieces of the Archavatara (Divine energy in the idol), starts yearning to see the Archavatara (Divine energy in the idol) more and more. When the being is not satisfied by what the two eyes can grasp and starts yearning for more, the third eye is forced to awaken to grasp the whole scene. The science of cosmology being brought back to humanity again through revival of KAILASA, revival of science of Kriya pada, science of initiation, science of power manifestation, and science of parallel universe by the SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam.
