On the auspicious occasion of Tamil New Year 2024 approaching, Honorable Yan Zhao, Mayor of Saratoga City, California, USA, has granted a Certificate of Appreciation to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, in recognition of KAILASA San Jose, and its commitment to the enrichment of the larger Bay-Area through free programs and services in line with the ancient sacred sciences and knowledge of Hinduism for all of individuals to awaken to their peak potential and live in the highest consciousness.

KAILASA San Jose is one of the thousands of KAILASAs established by THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM across the globe.

KAILASA San Jose, founded under the auspices and blessings of THE SPH, has been contributing to the welfare of the residents of different cities in Northern California since its inception in 2010. The organization was registered in 2007 and started its community-enriching activities even before the temple was officially inaugurated.

KAILASA San Jose has remained steadfast in its commitment to serving the Northern California community. Notably, the organization has significantly impacted through initiatives such as donating raw food materials to feed over 20,000+ individuals in Milpitas. Over the past 14 years, KAILASA San Jose has provided free food to more than 150,000 people. KAILASA San Jose has offered various programs and services to the residents of Northern California, including free yoga & kriya courses, free meditation sessions, courses on life solutions, youth workshops, workshops on leadership, Sanskrit chanting classes, activities for kids, and sattvic vegetarian cooking and health classes.

Globally, the United States of KAILASA has served over 1 billion meals to date and provided free education for over 20 million children and youth through KAILASA's Nithyananda Hindu University, the World's Largest Hindu University.

Today, on World Parkinson's Day, we remember the struggles of thousands of individuals who suffer from Parkinson's disease. This issue prompts us to deeply question the lifestyle that we have globally adopted. THE SPH revealed that Parkinson's sprouts from exclusive mental development at the cost of physical and emotional development. The permanent solution to rid humanity of this disease is to incorporate yoga and the highly fulfilling temple-based lifestyle that evokes devotion and sacred sentiments for the Divine.
