On 6 Nov 2006, His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam (HDH) placed the energized Shiva Meru (3-dimensional structure representing the Cosmos) in the pit that was dug to install the flagstaff of the Temple of Sri Anandeshwar, and offered arati (lit camphor) to it. On this Meru, he installed the flagstaff on 7 Nov 2006.
