Title

The Qualities of Ishwara

Description

February 24, 2015

Today’s (24th February, 2015) Morning Satsang continues with the Upanishads Series - Living Advaita.

Isha Upanishad–Verse 4 begins:

anejad-ekaṁ manaso jivīyo nainad-devā āpnuvan pūrvamarṣat | tad-dhāvato’ nyān atyeti tiṣṭhat tasminn apo mātariśvā dadhāti || 4 ||

In this profound delivery of the Isha Upanishad, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes how Verse 4 is a technique for us to align ourselves to the right context. The Vedic tradition puts the context first; how else can we recognize consciousness or the Divine inside of us? When something beyond our comprehension is described, we need to be given a description to meditate upon so that we have a scale to measure our experiences.
