Viraja Homa is performed by Sannyasis, Brahmachainis and Brahmacharis only. These sacred mantras are chanted during sanyas initiation ritual and on ocassions of Maheshwara Puja. These sacred mantras, called Viraja homa mantras means burning the aggressiveness, burning the past, burning the desires, burning the worries, burning the guilt, burning the pain, burning the joys, consciously put in the fire, to come out of the cosmic layer, all the nirvanic layer, all the seven layers. The context held is "Let us purify the whole world, let us purify the universe, when we are purified the whole world is purified".
