condolences to our dear friend Lauren King, (Richard's wife) and offer our love and support.
We are deeply saddened to announce that Richard King, a friend of the temple and an outstanding philanthropist has passed away. On behalf of His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Kailasa Los Angeles Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple conveys our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to our dear friend Lauren King, (Richard's wife) and offer our love and support.
LA sangha prays to Paramashiva and Swamiji to liberate him and rest his soul in peace Richard and Lauren have been strong supporters of a spiritual community in the LA area, and have generously hosted many healing, meditation, and power manifestation sessions in their house, bringing love and comfort to many. Through the Lauren and Richard King Charitable Trust they have supported great causes such as medical research, humans rights, veteran aid and support, to name a few. Richard King was a successful media businessmen and real estate developer. Richard King was a part of the King family which founded King World, a company that founded and distributed some of the best shows on TV such as Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and the Oprah Winfrey Show. Richard King was a kind, generous soul who will be dearly missed. We send our love and prayers to Lauren King and family, and pray for Richard to rest blissfully in the lap of the divine.
