With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA HOSUR celebrated the auspicious day of Karthigai Somavaram on November 16, 2025, by conducting the sacred Annanda Lingam Pooja. This profound ritual embodied KAILASA's commitment to reviving authentic Hindu traditions and serving humanity through spiritual and humanitarian initiatives. The day’s activities centered around dedicated seva (selfless service), including elaborate Abhishekam, sacred Alankaram, and the offering of Neivedyam to the Divine, culminating in the compassionate act of serving food. Eight dedicated volunteers and participants collaborated to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva, furthering KAILASA’s global mission of human consciousness awakening and revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.

Karthigai Somavaram Annanda lingam pooja

The Karthigai Somavaram Annanda lingam pooja was performed with deep reverence, marking an important day in the Hindu calendar dedicated to Paramashiva. Karthigai Somavaram is historically observed to receive the grace of Paramashiva and clear deep-rooted negative karma. The puja was structured to engage participants in direct Hindu spiritual technology, beginning with the sacred Abhishekam—the ceremonial bathing of the lingam with various purifying substances—followed by the artistic Alankaram (decoration). These rituals are central to manifesting the presence of Paramashiva and aligning devotees with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness gifted by THE SPH.

Eight dedicated participants and eight volunteers collaborated seamlessly to perform all aspects of the puja and associated seva. Their efforts included meticulous cleaning of the sacred space, preparation of the offerings, and decoration of the altar (Alankaram). The collective concentration and dedicated service ensured that the sacred Hindu rituals were conducted according to the authentic spiritual instructions provided by THE SPH, enabling the community to connect with the enlightened existence of Paramashiva.

Central to this auspicious event was the offering of Neivedyam, sacred food prepared with consciousness and devotion. Following the offering, the community transitioned into selfless service, or seva, by serving food to all present. The fusion of ritualistic devotion (Abhishekam and Alankaram) with practical humanitarian action (feeding) exemplifies THE SPH's teaching that service to God is service to humanity, mirroring the divine contribution of Annanda Lingam—the manifestation of Paramashiva as the giver of food and sustenance.

This comprehensive seva reaffirms KAILASA HOSUR’s commitment to THE SPH’s global humanitarian vision of food security through Annadan. By participating in cooking, feeding, and offering Neivedyam, the volunteers actively contributed to the spiritual and physical nourishment of the community, supporting the worldwide mission of the United States of KAILASA in reviving Sanatana Hindu Dharma and serving humanity with compassion and superconscious knowledge.
