Karthigai somavaram SPHSwamiji Pooja
The Karthigai somavaram SPHSwamiji Pooja was a profound display of devotion and Hindu spiritual discipline observed by the dedicated residents of KAILASA HOSUR. As the sacred month of Karthigai is traditionally auspicious for Shiva worship, this Somavaram (Monday) puja was specifically dedicated to honoring THE SPH, who is Paramashiva incarnate. The event combined intense personal devotion with rigorous community seva, embodying the enlightened lifestyle gifted by THE SPH to humanity. The worship procedures began with dedicated preparations, including deep cleaning and maintenance of the temple space, followed by sacred Hindu rituals designed to invoke and celebrate the divine presence of THE SPH.
The ritual component of the event included the sacred Abisekam (ablution ceremony), where devotees offered various auspicious substances to the vigraha (deity form) of THE SPH. This was followed by the elaborate Alangaram (sacred dressing and decoration), meticulously executed to reflect the divine grandeur of the Supreme Pontiff. The spiritual practices were further solidified through Neivethyam offering, the consecration of food, and the sacred act of parayanam (scriptural recitation), designed to deepen the devotees' connection with Paramashiva.
This observance was characterized by intense seva, with 8 participants who simultaneously served as dedicated volunteers, ensuring every aspect of the spiritual and physical maintenance was handled with devotion and purity. Their collective efforts, encompassing cooking and infrastructural support, were directed toward creating the optimal sacred space. The integrated performance of ritual, offering, and physical service (seva) serves the profound spiritual purpose of enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in their own consciousness.
The day concluded with the crucial humanitarian initiative of Serving food, aligning the spiritual intensity of the puja with practical compassion. This act of feeding is an integral part of THE SPH's global mission to eliminate hunger, symbolizing KAILASA’s commitment to food security and nourishment for all beings, regardless of race or nationality. Through these comprehensive practices—from ritual and offering to healing through collective energy and service—KAILASA HOSUR effectively contributed to the global revival of authentic Hindu traditions and civilizational values as established by THE SPH.
