The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism(SPH) Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam His Divine Holiness Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam inaugurated the global mission to end world hunger and uplift humanity from food-related diseases and mass-industrial farming. This mission called Kailasa’s Nithyananda Annalaya was started by SPH 26 years ago, and today has spread across  various continents feeding over ONE BILLION lives till date.

annam bahu kurvita |annam na nindayāt tat vratam ||   Let us create and share huge quantities of food. Let us not waste food. This is our vow. ~ Taittriya Upanisad

SPH has declared this as the  vision statement of  Kailasa’s  Nithyananda Annalaya for all Temples, Monasteries and communities world over.

SPH also clearly defines the mission as- “We should grow food in energy fields, without artificial fertilizers or chemicals using the natural methods in an organic way. (We) should prepare the food properly, offer it to the divine, deities and guru and share it with the world, as much as possible without expecting anything in return.” To fulfil SPH’s vision of “No hungry Human” several initiatives have been taken by various Kailasas worldwide. This page documents the Annadaanams served in India in Thiruvannamalai and Bangalore feeding a total of 50000 people,  on the occasions of Avatars Jayanthi Brammotsavam, Krishna janmashta, Maheshwara pooja in the year 2010.
