The Upanishads were revealed to the Sapta Rishis under the Sacred Banyan Tree, Kalpavriksha near Ramanagara, south of India. Isa Upanishad is the first Upanishad in the series of 108 Muktiko Upanishads organized by Sri Ramachandra Prabhu.
