[00:02:17]

Before we enter into the Sutras. you should all become Anandeshwaris, you should enter into that consciousness. Unless you become Anandeshwari you can’t understand the words of Shiva. In Greek one great philosopher was there, he went to a monastery to learn, but the monastery Guru told him “Three months you have to meditate, only then we will come inside, we will let you come inside, we will allow you inside. After that only you can start learning with us.” This guy was shocked, I just want to learn, for that why should I meditate? They said “No, this is our rule. Meditate for three month. Only then we will let you in; otherwise we can’t teach you.” He went on argued; he was arguing, arguing, arguing, “No, for learning why should I meditate?” Finally they said “No, you have to meditate. Either you meditate and come in and learn or get lost.” Anyhow, he meditated for three months. After that, he entered the monastery, studied. After studying he makes a statement “If I was not forced to meditate before entering to the monastery, before entering into my study, I would have become mad, because it is too much, this is too much.”

(04:26)

Shastra is the essence of knowledge. That is why they say, If you think all the Vedas as a cow and all the Upanishads as a milk, Gita is a butter. Vedas themself are the essence of knowledge and that gist is Upanishad, that gist is Gita. But Gita itself is only a Shastra. The essence of Shastra is Stotra and essence of Stotra is Tantra. Is so subtle, if you don’t meditate before entering into Tantra, it will be too much on you. You can’t digest. If you take some too hard food, if you suddenly start eating this much of butter, without having the digesting capacity, what will happen? Either you will have diarrhea or vomiting.

[00:05:49]

So, before entering into Sutras, before entering into Tantra, let you all enter into Anandeshwari consciousness. Let you all become Devi, so that the Shiva can descend. Let’s all become Devi literally. We will do the meditation of Shakti Dharana, allowing Shakti to descend on us, letting Shiva to happen to our being. To become Devi, you don't need to do anything. You have to drop all your doing, that’s all. Nothing else. You just have to drop all your doing. You neither need to do something, nor need to undo something. No. Just all you need to do is drop all doing. To become Devi, you do not, you don’t need anything to be done. You just need to drop all your doings.

[00:07:30]

First, we will all sit in a special Mandala, the circle, then I will give the instruction, we’ll enter into Devihood, Anandeshwari consciousness. For Ganapati, Ganas are the Anga Devatas; Anga Devata means, the Devatas who always go with them, anga, become anga. For Skanda, the Nava Veeras, Veerabahu, Veerabhanu some 9 guys are there. They are the Anga Devatas. For Devi, Nava Shakti and Ashta Kali, Nava Shakti and Ashta Kalis are the Anga Devatas. And for Vishnu, all the Vaikuntaites. All the Devas are the Anga Devatas. And for Shiva, you know, the Bhoota ganas are the Anga Devatas. I think for Me the healers are Anga Devatas, the healers are Anga Devatas. The healers and Acharyas that is our Anga Devatas. Anga Devata Avarana Devata they call it. Anga Devata means who are part. Avarana Devata means who are taking care of the mission, the work. The Avarana Devatas only go and do all the work. So healers are the, healers and Acharyas are the Anga Devata and Avarana Devata.

[00:09:40]

Ok, now we will start. Anyhow, this is Anandeshwari, so ladies first. First, based on age, make a circle. Today onwards all should carry always the ribbon. Blindfold. All of you have one one ribbon; always you should carry; because when we will start the meditation, I don’t know. Simply we will enter into the Sutra and I enter into meditation. So... First listen the instruction, important instruction, we are going to create empty space, passive energy, a womb, Yoni, so that the Linga can descend, that Shiva can descend, the active energy can descend, Divine can descend. The moment you create a passive energy, emptiness, you will be filled with Divine consciousness. If you can just become Anandeshwari, simply Anandeswara will descend. This is the technique to bring the Divine to our being. Actually if you become nobody, simply the Divine will descend on you. As long as you are somebody nothing can happen. The moment you become nobody, the Divine will descend on you.

[00:11:36]

For next three months, no other work except learning, learning, learning. So let them all continuously learn. I don’t think anybody will go back to the home 😃 But I am such a, what to say that, a, a, impatient guy, the moment I entered I started coming out. Participant [in Tamil]: Translation scroll - “Swamiji, I was wondering what you were like in the womb?” HDH: Ya, I just took care that My body is ready, but the moment I entered I came out. Some 45 minutes it took, for Me to possess the body and prepare everything and tuk tuk!!

(12:24)

You see, this will be the relating point for Me. Now we are going to create such a deep vacuum, the passive energy, like storm the whole Shiva energy will descend, the Linga will simply descend. Do you know what Devoja means? Participant: Inaudible HDH: What? Participant: Scroll - “It is when Divinity descends from the heavens.” HDH: This is what is Devojam. Devojam means divinity descending. Sadyojatam, Devojam, all these things are names of Shiva. Sadyojatam is from active …..., Devojam is from passive ….... He himself becomes a vacuum and He himself descends.

[00:13:33]

Okay. Ready? Tie the ribbon. Visualize yourself as Anandeshwari, forget your name, forget your form, forget your identity. Don’t even remember, you are male or female. Just start feeling you are Devi. Later on you can start the meditation, now first start feeling, visualizing you are Devi.

[00:14:24]

[00:14:55]

Visualize and experience you have become Devi. Take few minutes and clearly visualize, you became the passive energy, mother energy to receive Shiva. You became Aum. Let you become Uma so that Shiva can happen in you. We always played only the active role, Shiva’s role. Now become Uma, now just become Uma, Shiva will happen, Later on you can start the meditation. Now only visualize you are Uma.

[00:16:19]

உங்களை தேவியாகவே தெளிவாக உணருங்கள்.

[00:16:30]

Start doing Shakti Dharana, start the meditation.

[00:16:38]

தியானத்தை துவங்குங்கள், உங்களுக்குள் ஆனந்தேஸ்வரரும் சத்குரு நாதனும் முழுமையாக இறங்குவதை உணருங்கள்.

[00:16:52]

Seeing the Anandeshwara, the ultimate master, our own beloved master is descending on you. Just become Aum, he will descend on you. Start the meditation, start the Shakti Dharana.

[00:18:17]

When you feel you are full, just bend and kiss the earth and relax into the existence.

[00:19:40]

If you have done at least seven times then sit with the closed eyes,

(00:00:17)

But people who have subconscious and unconscious, for them Shastras become very dangerous. It's like a children using the knife. When they have subconscious and unconscious instead of practicing, they start preaching the Shastras; instead of they themself practicing, they start preaching. A big, great danger is there with Shastras - The moment you understand, you get so much of intellectual confidence, and intellectual knowledge, you can twist any word into anything. You will get the efficiency, you will get the power to text torture or twist the words, or playing with words. You will have so much of capacity, to play with words, easily you can cheat others, easily you can cheat others.

(00:01:26)

People who have subconscious and unconscious, for them Shastras are only dangerous. People who don't have subconscious and unconscious, simple, for them, Shastras can simply transform their life, nothing more is necessary; simple understanding and intellectual understanding is more than enough. By reading one Upanishad they become enlightened.

(00:01:53)

There is a beautiful Sutra in the Paramahamsa Upanishad. Paramahamsa Parivrajaka Upanishad. After it describing Sannyas, the Sutra starts directly giving Mantras to take Sannyas. First, they describe about Sannyas, then immediately the mantras to take Sannyas are coming. You will be surprised why suddenly they are giving the mantras? Then I understood; in those days just by hearing about Sannyas, people would take the decision to take Sannyas. So there is no question of analyzing, there is no question of second thought, there is no question of: “Oh, I’ll have to go and enquire, I have to get my visa, I have to have permission from this person, that person.” Nothing. Intellectual conviction and over. “No, no my daughter is studying tenth, let her finish tenth, then I’ll take”. There are so many reasons you can't...

(00:02:54)

People who don't have subconscious and unconscious, don't have reasons. People who don't have subconscious and unconscious; they simply jump. A simple intellectual clarity is more than enough. That is the reason in Paramahamsa Upanishad, first they describe what is Sannyas and what is Paramahamsahood. Immediately the mantra to take the Sannyas is given. They don't even consider whether you want or not. They don’t even ask do you want it or not. Simply they give the state, then the qualification, then mantras, over.

(00:03:32)

I was really shocked. Straight away they are giving the techniques. Then I understood, in those days people did not have subconscious and unconscious. In those days they didn't have subconscious and unconscious. They don't have to conduct any program, they don't have to go for any job, they have nothing else. Of course, they had everything, they have everything, but in the outer world they have not internalized.

(00:04:00)

Internalizing the outer incidents is what creates subconscious and unconscious. Internalizing the effects of outer incidents is what is subconscious and unconscious. You can live without subconscious and unconscious, you can live without internalizing the outer, outside incidents, without internalizing outside happenings. If a man has mastered the art of living without internalizing the outside incidences, he's only called as Paramahamsa. Paramahamsa is a man, who lives without internalizing whatever is happening in the outer world. You can live without internalizing. People who live without internalizing, they don't have subconscious or unconscious.

(00:05:10)

How to find out whether we have subconscious or, whether we have subconscious unconscious or not? Now this is important; if you say, “I understand intellectually smoking has to be dropped, but I am not able to” then be very clear you have subconscious and unconscious. Even after knowing, if you say you are not able to drop, then be very clear you have unconscious and subconscious. If you don't have unconscious and subconscious just an intellectual understanding is more than enough, that will lead to light.

(00:05:58)

The Upanishads, they say just by reciting once: asatoma sadgamaya tamasoma jyotirgamaya mrityorma amritam gamaya. People become enlightened. Just by reciting, just by hearing tatvamasi people become enlightened. Just these few words people simply enter into enlightenment state. How can it be? It is possible, because they did not have subconscious and unconscious mind. So, a simple, straight intellectual clarity is more than enough. Simply give them few words, they are already into that state.

(00:06:53)

In Patanjali, there is a beautiful technique. He says: “Sit straight, meditation happens” In those days just by sitting they enter into meditative state. Because the body and the mind was one and the same. There is no two things. Nothing much is complicated, you don't have much complications inside your system. You don't create words, you don't create logic, you don't create reasonsings which can defeat the Masters. That's what - surviving the scriptures and surviving the Masters.

(00:07:40)

Anyhow, when you are simple, simple Shastras is more than enough. But humanity is not so simple. By and by they started outliving Shastras, they started surviving the Masters. The techniques have become useless. In Buddha's time, simple Shastras are more than enough. Later on; the techniques have become useless. Then came a big wave of Stotras. You can see, just after the Shankara, a big wave of Stotras - Dasa Parampara, Chaitanya, Nayanmars. All over India a big sweep of Bhakti cult. A big sweep of Bhakti happened; the Stotras.

(00:08:38)

Stotra means, the man who has got subconscious, can overcome his subconscious, just by Stotra scriptures. The love, devotion is more than enough to become enlightened for the people who have only subconscious. Intellect and just subconscious, then you don't need anything more than Stotras. That is why Ramakrishna says beautifully: “Divert your love, divert your anger, divert all your emotions towards God you will become enlightened.” Means, all the suppressed emotions you divert it towards the Divine.” When I say Stotras, I mean; the techniques, which works, which creates emotional experience, or emotional attachment towards the ultimate, towards the Divine. For some people who has got only subconscious, for them Stotras are really great help.

(00:09:54)

But again people have started outliving the Stotras, people have started outliving the Stotras. People have started surviving the Stotras. Even Stotras are become useless, even Stotras are not able to do much. Then a different kind of scripture is necessary; that is what is Tantra.

(00:10:29)

Very important thing. Tantra will help the person who has got all possible problems: intellect, subconscious and unconscious, and what not. Because once you use the word unconscious everything is included. Unconscious means etc, etc... All possible troubles, all possible problems, exist in unconscious. Tantra is the scripture, to help every human being. Tantra gives solution for all types of beings which happened, which is happening, and which is yet to happen. Tantra gives ultimate keys to lock, to unlock the locks which has happened, which is happening, and which is yet to happen. Stotras and Shastras, let us look little deeply.

(00:11:43)

Shastras speak about the goal. Stotras speak about the experience. After experience happens you start singing Stotras; once it happens you start singing Stotras. It's like a “How?” is never asked. In Shastras, only truth is analyzed, you ask only “Why?” When you ask “Why?” you can become a better philosopher. If you ask; “Why this existence?” you’ll become a great philosopher. But Tantra never asks “Why?” it always says “How?” How can you solve it? It never asks, “Why there is a problem?” It always asks “How can we solve it?”

(00:12:45)

If you start analysing why there is a problem, you can never finish, you can never end. By analysing you will never come out, you will be having only more and more problems. By solving the question you can never come out, only by dissolving you can come out. Actually, if you solve one question, if you answer one question, if you have really heard My answer, you will have one hundred questions. If you really hear My answers, one answer, you will have one hundred questions. Actually, people are tired, so they stopped asking. It is not that they understood; either they are bored or they do not want to ask. It is not that they understood.

(00:13:38)

I know. Whenever people ask Me questions I never answer, I just postpone. I know the technique of postponing. That is why any question I can answer, any question I can answer; because nobody wants answer. Be very clear, nobody wants answer. If you really hear My answer, one answer, you will get one hundred question. Naturally you will have headache and you do not want to think much about it. And now you get slowly little frightened. If I ask little more questions, I will have more and more questions.

(00:14:22)

And there was a Rakshasa, in the Puranas he is called 14:26 Udina Asura, Means, if one drop of his blood, if it drops on the ground, one thousand people will come out of that blood. He can never be destroyed, because the moment somebody attacks him, blood oozes out and thousands of people come out of his body. They all start fighting, and if you attack those guys, from their blood also thousands of people start coming. So, if you put one Astra you will have one lakh people. You will have one lakh, if you put the second Astra you will have one crore. So you can never defeat him. Same way, you can never solve a question. You can only dissolve.

(00:15:15)

Question comes out of words; words can never solve words. Blood can never clean the blood. You can't wash the blood by blood, you can't solve a question by answer, no. You can't solve a word by another one word. If you give one more word you will have one more question, you will have one more question. So, technique of answering is, just see that, that other guy, who question, the guy who questions should become tired; just take care of only one thing, that he should become tired mentally, that's enough. Simply any question you can answer and nobody wants answer.

(00:16:12)

First thing, they wanted to show that they know. Many time I have seen, people wanted to show that they know. And I have seen many time, after spending one hour with Me, people go out and say: “Oh we had such wonderful interview with Swamiji, we learnt so much”, but actually I would have never spoken. I would not have opened My mouth at all. I just heard they are speaking, they feel so happy that they got somebody to listen.”

(00:16:47)

In this modern-day nobody listens to others, everybody is speaking. Even if you keep quiet, you are preparing the speech. Actually you keep silent when the other guy is speaking so that you can start speaking; just a courtesy. “Now I’ve heard keep quiet and listen me.” Nobody wan... Nobody is listening, either you are speaking or you prepare your speech; that's all. The silent period you are preparing your speech. You don't keep quiet; you are hearing so that he will hear you. It is a simple agreement: “You see I heard you, now keep quiet and listen me.” And if the other guy is not ready to listen, you will not listen him. So nobody wants answers. That is the big trouble.

(00:17:49)

Actually, we take others questions very seriously, that is where the problem starts. And a simple key, important key: whenever your wife comes and tells some complaint to you, never, never, never try to give solutions. She just wants somebody to hear. She doesn’t want solution be very clear... and she can give much better solution. She knows the solution, she doesn’t want solution; she wants somebody to console her. Listen, just listen, nothing else. Actually, there is one kind of, special kind of mental set up. And the same way for male also, for male also, you don't want answers, you just want somebody to listen what you feel. Because you know much better answers.

(00:18:47)

Nobody wants solutions, nobody wants answer; either they wanted to show that they know, or they wanted to feel good that they asked, they are seekers. When you ask, your ego is strengthened you are a seeker, you are a seeker. The ego of the seeker is the worst ego. You do not even know you are what you are.

(00:19:25)

And a small experiment. Just try to, try to pick up that diary; don’t pick it up, just try to pick it up. Try to pick up that diary. You can't pick it up, but try to pick it up. It's like a... I try to pick up this book. I can't pick it up, but I try to pick it up. [Swamiji demonstrates it] Means what? Cheating yourself. That is what it means when you say: “I tried to become enlightened.” Whether you pick the book or you don't pick up the book, that's all. There is no such thing “I am trying to pick this book up I am not able to.”

(00:20:14)

Participant: You are trying to fool yourself.

(00:20:17)

HDH: You are just trying to fool yourself. Seeker ego, the man who thinks himself as a seeker does the same game: “I am trying to pick this book, I am trying to pick this book, I am trying to pick this book.” What is he trying? Nothing. Either you pick up or drop. There is nothing called trying to pick up this book.

In this video Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism HDH Nithyananda Paramashivam speaks about what it is that creates karma, and how we can clear this karma by living a conscious life. HDH also speaks about how human beings create subconsciousness. Stotras are wonderful techniques to go beyond the karma. The missing link between Shastra and Stotra, is Tantra. Tantra means “Life Solution”, or “Technique”. Tantra is what connects Shastra and Stotra. The “Vijnana Bhairava Tantra”, a beautiful scripture delivered by the ultimate Master, Shiva, does just this is.

All your questions gives you a satisfaction that you are a Seeker. When you can’t afford your spiritual poverty, you wanted to create a luxury called Seeker Ego. If you feel mentally you are too poor, you get a good furniture just for the hаll. Just for the front hall, you get a good furniture. You do not want to show to the people that you are poor. You will have lot of loan, that is different. You will have enough of loan, but in the front room, you will have the best furnitures. When you feel you are poor, you get best furniture for your front room. When you feel you are spiritually poor… Spiritual poverty is too much. In ordinary poverty, your ego is not hurt. If you don’t have money your ego is not hurt. But if you don’t know about spirituality your ego is hurt. That is too much.

[00:01:30]

You can actually easily bear, put up with the ordinary poverty but not with spiritual poverty. To show to the people: "I don't have money" it's not a big deal, you can handle it and some time, people even feel proud. I have seen, people who don't have capacity to make money in politics field, they tell Me: "I am very honest, Swamiji."😃 Just say you don't have capacity, you didn’t have capacity. Or you can always justify your poverty, justify your poverty. Even the government officers, people who are very poor, they say: "No, no I was pure, I never took any money. I am non-corrupt.”

[00:02:23]

You can always justify your material poverty, materialistic poverty. But it is too much... spiritual poverty is too much. Your ego is hurt, so you wanted to show you are a Seeker. That is why you say “I tried to become Enlightened. I tried my best Swamiji. I am trying my best to meditate." Beautiful words. Good furnitures for others to sit, not for you to live. Good furnitures to show to the others, but not for you to live with.

[00:03:10]

Seeker ego is a beautiful furniture with which you are showing to the world, you are not poor. You wanted to have some luxury, you just want, you just don't want people to know you are poor, so that luxury is what is Seeker ego. Seeker ego.

[00:03:33]

Actually I tell you, let you be very clear, you are spiritually poor. At least, that clarity will allow or will make something to happen in your being. The alchemy will start happening. Honesty and truth can lead to Ultimate, but we do not want that. It is too much. I don't have money, you can always justify. But you can't justify, I don't know spirituality. You can't justify it. So this is a buffer.

[00:04:17]

Seeker, the Seeker ego is used as a buffer between you and the truth. You use Seeker ego as a buffer to protect yourself from the truth. In the car, you can see there will be buffer springs. Have you heard of this buffer springs? In all the vehicles they have buffer springs, so that all the shocks will not be transmitted to your - Participants: Shock Absorbers HDH: Shock absorbers. So that all the shocks, all the vibrations will not be transported to your body. Your body will not feel it. So, shock absorbers, buffer springs are used to keep you away from the reality called road. Road is the reality. You do not want the shocks of the road, shocks of the reality. So you keep the buffer - shock absorbers between you and the reality.

[00:05:23]

Seeker ego is the buffer spring between you and the reality, you and enlightenment, you and truth. When you say: "I am trying to", be very clear, you are cheating yourself. Just try, try to pick up that bag. Don't pick it up, you can't pick it up. Try to pick it up. What do you mean by it? You are playing, you are playing.... but costly game. Please, be very clear, costly game. You will be wasting your whole life in this game. And in the end you will say: "I was a Seeker throughout my life."

[00:06:14]

Many people come and bows in front of Me: "Swamiji, in 1942 I had initiation from Mukhtananda Baba. You are just damaging your Guru's name. They think they are adding his name, or they are spreading his name. No. Still you have not become enlightened. You are damaging your Master's name. That is why I tell people, never go and tell outside “I am Nithyananda's disciple for last 2 years”. Then you are damaging My name, still, you've not become enlightened. Then what for you are here? That is practically defaming Me, not spreading Me! I have seen many people coming and telling: "For last 40 years I am meditating Swamiji." They are defaming the meditation itself. Trying to pick up the file!

[00:07:26]

All your questions are postponed by Shastras. Shastras create so much of words, you get frightened or bored. Either you get frightened or bored and drop the questions, and that is also a technique. That is also a technique. Even in that way if you drop the questions, okay. But there are some people, they don't drop the question, they keep it one corner of their mind. They just suppress it, and they say: "afterwards I’ll take care of you". Intellectual violence. Even you can experience this.

[00:08:15]

If you are fighting with your wife, that time you do not know what to reply and you will take down all the points, you will silently listen and do something. Next day morning, when you are brushing or sitting in the bathroom, you will have all the answers. You will have all the answer by your wife’s questions.😃 When you are brushing your teeth: "She told that word, reply is ready.” “He told that word, the reply is ready.” You are sharpening your weapon now, you have sharpened now your weapon.😃 Yesterday she was loud...

[00:08:55]

You see, actually when people speak loud, your logic stops working, your logic stops working. So when she shouts, you will not have any answer. So, that time simply you take things inside. And when you are brushing the teeth,😃 you get all the answers. Again you go and shout… then again you get some more, 😃 some more questions, she shouts some more things; then next day when you brush again you get answers.

[00:09:33]

Actually, when she shouts it is not that you are convinced, you are not able to understand, you are able to answer few things, other things you are not able to; so you just keep them in file. That is what is subconscious. Any experience if you have not lived with your whole being, with your totality, you create subconscious. Anything which is unlived, anything which leaves hangover in your being becomes subconscious. If you are not living totally in the present moment, those experiences create subconscious mind. Those things create a subconscious level. Anything if you live totally, if you live with full alertness, awareness, it gets fulfilled.

[00:10:36]

Karma means the experiences which has not happened fully in you, which you lived only with half of your awareness, is what is karma. You, by nature you are a being which is fulfillment. By nature you are fulfillment, so you can't leave anything unfulfilled. So any experience, if you have not lived fully it again pulls you, attracts you to fulfill that same experience.

[00:11:18]

If you have not smoked fully, if you have not enjoyed the smoking fully, whenever you smoke if you have guilt, be very clear, you can never drop smoking. If you smoke beautifully, happily, without any guilt, simply smoking will drop you. You don't have to drop smoking, smoking will drop you. Any experience, if you've lived completely, the moment that experience is complete, fulfilled, it drops you, it wants you to go beyond that.

[00:11:54]

Do you feel disturbed or do you feel that you are missing your toys? Do you feel that you are missing your toy-car? No. You are full. You are full. You played enough. Over. Naturally, now toy-car has drop you. Same way, if you live fully, this car, this car also will drop you. If you've not lived fully, you will create a hangover which I call Karma.

[00:12:39]

Anything which is unfulfilled, which is there in your being, is what I call karma. Unconsciousness, sub…. First, Karma is subconscious. That is why you can see, the people who work in the line of Stotras, who sing Stotras, again and again they mention the word Karma; because they are caught in that, they are caught in that. All the Bhakti scriptures, all the Stotras, people who do Stotras they are afraid of Karma, you can see. In all Stotras, the fear about Karma will be expressed; because, they are caught in the Karma, they are caught in the Karma.

[00:13:36]

Stotras are wonderful techniques to go beyond the Karma. Shastras speak about the goal, Stotras are expression of after having the experience, expression of experience. But there is a missing link. For example, Shastra is a scripture which says: “Goal is there.” Stotra is a scripture which says: “Oh, so beautiful this goal is!” Shastra is a scripture which says, you have to go to the top of the mountain - that is the goal. Stotra is the scripture, after reaching the top of the mountain you start singing the beauty of the whole nature. You start expressing and dancing. There is a missing link, nobody has bothered about that. That is the question "How to reach the top of the hill?", the technique to reach. That missing link is connected by Shiva, the Ultimate Enlightened Masters. He’s the Ultimate Enlightened Master. He is the Ultimate among the Enlightened Masters, He is the Ultimate Enlightened Master.

[00:15:08]

Shiva gives a beautiful scripture. He delivers wonderful book called Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra. Tantra means technique. Tantra means technique. Tantra doesn't belong to any religion, it doesn't belong to any creed. It doesn't belong to any cast, doesn't belong to any sect. Because it is simply techniques. Techniques to reach the Ultimate. Techniques to reach the Ultimate, that's all.

[00:15:56]

For example, Thomas Alva Edison invented this bulb. Once he has invented it belongs to whole world. You can't say, because Edison invented it belongs to only to Christians or his family people, no. Once it is invented it works all over the world, it belongs to whole humanity. Because it is a technique, that's all.

[00:16:22]

Same way, the Tantra is a technique which can create inner light. It doesn't belong to any one religion. Anybody who wants light, for them this [gestures towards light] is a technique. Anybody who wants inner light for them Tantra is a technique. Tantra is a life solution. Tantra is a technique. Tantra connects the Shastra and Stotra. Tantra fulfills the Shastra and Stotra. Tantra is the ultimate fulfillment. Tantra is the ultimate technique. Tantra leads to the Ultimate Being.

Title: Roadmaps to Enlightenment Part 3
Name Program: Shiva Sutras - Sastras
Session on: The difference and correlation between Shastras, Stotras and Tantra, and how to reach enlightenment by following these scriptures.
Date: 25 January 2005
Venue: Adikailaasa, Bengaluru, India|

In this video Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism HDH Nithyananda Paramashivam explains what philosophy is, and how it is different than Tantra. While philosophy raises more questions and focuses on the “why”, Tantra focuses on the ‘how’ to give a direct experience and solution; it is a science. Philosophers ask "why", scientists ask "how". Shastras are libraries, HDH explains, while Tantra is a laboratory only concerned about the alchemical process to happen for each individual.

The missing link between the Shastra and Stotra is connected just by this Tantra. In Tantra, only one question: “How to”, that's all. Never why, never why. It is always “how”. Throughout the Gita if you see, Arjuna is putting so many questions; that itself shows he is not inte (..) interested in the answer. When you put too many questions, be very clear, you're not interested in the answers. So many questions Arjuna is asking and Krishna is replying, that is why Gita is a philosophy, Shastra. Gitasu upanishadsu sarvavidyayam yoga shastre. Shastra.

[00:01:18]

Somebody asked Me: “Swamiji, why Gita has become so popular. Why not Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra?” I said: No, this is only for intelligent people. Naturally intelligent people are very few. This is not for mass, this is not for intellectuals. This is for intelligence. People who are working in the field of intelligence. People who are intelligent, only for them this Tantra. Throughout this Tantra, only once Devi asked only one question, that's all. Devi puts only one question, that is not even a question, just she awakens Shiva to deliver this, that’s all. It’s not even a question, just she gives chance for Shiva to express himself, over. But throughout Gita you can see, so many questions again and again and again.

How this philosophy systems are created. First they say one word. If you ask some question, then they, they don't let you use your dictionary to for their words. They will supply their dictionary also; not only the word, meaning also you can have only as they want. That is why there are so many philosophies to explain why this existence, but still the existence is existence.😃

[00:03:02]

So many philosophies, but nobody is able to answer. Nobody is able to solve. So many philosophies are continuously happening, but nobody is able to answer why. The man who can supply his own dictionary in a very complicated way, becomes a great philosopher. All philosophy, all Shastras are nothing but supplying dictionary. In my experience, I have read thousands of commentaries, but no commentary is simpler than the original text. All commentaries are complicating the simple truths. All Shastras are complicating the simple truth. That is why they say ‘Shastra Jaala mahaaranya’ Means: “Big forest.” Shastra is like a Amazon forest; that is why the biggest library on the planet Earth is amazon.com. 😃There is some coincidence; the biggest library, the booksellers on the planet Earth is Amazon Library. Because these Shastras are like a Amazon forest. Shastra Jaala mahaaranya.

[00:04:32]

Once you enter, you can never come out. And Amazon forest you can’t even enter. They say from the plant, from the plant ground level, hundred feet you can't even penetrate. These trees are so thick, layers and layers, layers after layers the trees have grown, you can't even touch the planet Earth; above the 100 feet only you can even feel. Even if you go by helicopter and land, you can’t land on the ground. Only above the hundred feet you can land. Shastra Jaala mahaaranya is just like this Amazon. You can never land with that on the exact truth.

[00:05:21]

If you don't know the truth you can be bold. You can propose any theory if you don't know the truth. Blind man can speak in many ways about the light, because he doesn't know. The man who has seen light is always afraid to speak, because he knows the words are very poor. Man who doesn't know, who do not know, he has no hesitation to propose any theory, because he has no fear. The man who has seen, he is always hesitant: “Oh, words are too insufficient, words are too poor. What can I say?” That is why Tantra never answers the question “why”. It looks only “how”. The only scientific religion is Tantra. Science never asks why. If you ask “why”, you become philosopher.

[00:06:28]

If you want to become scientists, ask “how”. If you ask “why”, you’ll become a philosopher. If you ask “how”, you’ll become a scientist. Tantra answers only the “how”, never the “why”. Tantra answers “how”, it gives you the technique straight away. Tantra is not at all concerned about the truth. Please be very clear, it is not at all concerned about the truth, it is concerned about your experience of Truth. It doesn't want to sell words. It doesn't want to sell empty words. Tantra is not a book shop, it is not even a library. It is just laboratory. Shastras are libraries. Tantra is a laboratory. It is concerned only about alchemy process. It wants you to reach it - over. It never bothers about what is truth. It bothers how you can reach, how you can achieve. Tantra is too great truth. It is too much on a common mass, on a common man. Normal man cannot digest or tolerate Tantra.

[00:08:10]

There's a beautiful statement by one of the Great Western philosophers. He says: “The Eastern religious truths are too much true. They are too much. Please don't give these truths to the people. Poor fellows, let them live with their lies. Let them be little comfortable with their hopes, don't take away their hopes. It is too much, it is like a scorching Sun. It’s like you are thrown into the straight truth; it’s too much. Man cannot afford such straight truth. He wants to live with hopes.”

[00:09:00]

Small story: One guy went to, wants to go to north. He took train. He was traveling. Suddenly TT [Travelling Ticket Examiner. TT examiner is an employee in Indian railway who examines passenger tickets during the journey in trains] appeared and he was asking: “Where is your ticket?” This guy checked his ticket everywhere, here-there, here-there he is searching. He is not able to find. Everywhere he is searching except his coat pocket. TT said: “Why don't you see in the coat pocket?” “No, no, no, I am having the hope still that it is there. If I see and if it is not there, I’ll just drop dead. I will collapse. So please let me have that hope. Let me live few more minutes with that hope. Don't tell me the truth.” So, people are afraid of truth, they do not want to face the straight truth. Only when you don't have investments on your lies, you are ready to listen the ultimate truth. People who don't have investment on their lies is, whom I call “passive listeners - Anandeshwari.” Tantra can be delivered only to Devi who is totally passive, who don't have investments on their lies. Even if their lies are taken away, they will not lose their comforts. Their life standard will not be lost. They will not feel that something is lost.

[00:11:05]

That is why, from the time immemorial, always spiritual Seekers are advised to renounce everything. Not for anything else... if you have your investments on your lies, you cannot go near the truth. Renunciation is not for anything else. But now, I don't say you renounce everything, but at least see that you are not stopping in your search, you are not stopping in between for the sake of any other comforts. For the sake of any other things. Just see, wherever you have invested, wherever you have your investments on your lies, only in that zones, remove your energy. Only in that zones alter yourself. That is enough, you don't have to renounce what you have, just renounce what you don't have; because all your investments are based on lies, which is not there!

[00:12:27]

If I say, if you say you have invested lot on your lies... Lie means what? Which is not there, which is not there. So, renounce what you don't have, that is more than enough. All your investments on lies, let it be removed from your being.

Vivekananda says beautifully: “Let your religion be flooded by reason. Whatever can stand, let it stand. Whatever will be washed away, let it be washed away. The earlier they are washed away, better for the Humanity.”

So let your whole life, let your whole being be flooded by this ultimate truth. Whatever is washed away, let it be washed away, the earlier they are washed away, better for your health. If they're not washed away, if they stay in your system, any moment they can become cancer. Any mass which cannot become part of your body only become seed for cancer. Any mass which cannot become part of your body only becomes a seed for the cancer.

Same way, anything which cannot become part of your reality, your being, only becomes a seed for depression, seed for cancer. Flood your whole being with the truth, the earlier they are washed away, better for your being. If something cannot stand the truth, test of truth, let them be washed away. According to Me, Sannyas means the man who floods truth, ultimate truth into his being and allows the things to be washed away, which can’t stand the test of Truth.

[00:14:38]

If you let the truth to happen to you and if you let go whatever can be washed away by the truth, you are a Sannyasi. Sannyasi does not mean, man who wears the Kavi, or who is in the forest. There's no other definition, this one is enough. If you just allow the truth to flood your life, flood your being and let go whatever is washed away by the truth, let all these things be washed away. The earlier they are washed away, better for your being. If you can let go things for the sake of Truth, you are a Sannyasi. Nyasa means purifying, San means sarva. sarva nyasate iti sannyasaha. If you can purify everything by putting into the truth. If you have to purify the gold, what are you supposed to do? You have to put those things into acid. Same way, just like acid wash, do the truth wash.

Till you drop your dictionary, you can't relate with Me. So don't carry any idea that you related with Me, you have relationship with Me. Don't carry any idea that you are relating with Me. If you think you are relating with Me, you will only misunderstand. Understand. Don't think you are related with Me. Don't think you have relationship with Me. No. Whatever way you wanted, it just expressed, it just responded. This body is a empty vessel; whatever way you want you see it, you project and see it. Sometimes, this body also lets you to project, so that you will start feeling little comfortable, so that you will come near Me, you will come near this. But the moment you come near this, you should start understanding the truth. This body acts as a screen, letting you project what you want to see, for few minutes. I also do all the drama. Vasudeva wants to see Krishna as a son. So, Krishna carries the sandal of Vasudeva on his head. Yashoda wants to see Him as a son. So, He lets Yashoda to bind Him in the stone. Gopis wants to see him as a beloved so He lets them have relationship with Him. Arjuna wants him as a Master. So, He lets him project Master on Him.

(02:35)

But after few minutes, he wants you to understand He is a empty screen. He is not the movie which you are seeing. He is beyond the movie; which sustains the movie, which sustains this Naamaroopa Prapancha, which is beyond what you are seeing. As long as you think He is also one figure in your movie, you miss Him. You dangerously miss Him. You dangerously miss Him. Somebody asked Ramana Maharshi, “How can you come out of this waking state by seeing Master in this waking state?” You are supposed to go beyond the waking state, the “turiya”, but you see the Master only in this waking state. How can seeing Master in the waking state will help you to go beyond the waking state, enlightened state? Ramana Maharshi says, “seeing the lion in the dream will throw you out of dream. Simha swapna will throw you out of dream. Seeing Master in the waking state will throw you out of this waking state.” I let you see Me in the waking state so that you will be thrown out of waking state. The moment you try to hold Me, as you are seeing Me in the waking state, I just try to shake you. I just shake you from the root. I am letting you see Me, relate with Me in the waking state so that you will be thrown out of this waking state, not to give you a comfortable, soothing waking state. No. I am letting you to see Me, to relate with Me in this waking state, to awaken you, not to let you be in this waking state.

(05:11)

I am a simha swapna. Don't think I am a fantasy swapna. No, I am not a fantasy dream. Even though sometimes I look, I’m…. as if I am the fulfillment of all your fantasies. Sometimes I do look, I am the total fulfillment of whatever you can imagine and more than that. All your ultimate hero idea, you will see in the fulfill…. fulfilled form, in a full way, in Master. But I won't let the dream continue because I am a simha swapna. I am not the dream which will fulfill your fantasies. I am the dream which will awaken you. The moment you try to hold Me in the waking state, you are in a great danger of missing Me. You are in a great danger of thinking that you know Me, without knowing Me. The moment you come to the Ajna, you start relating, only dialogue happens, but still, you are apart from Me, you are apart from the Master. If you are established in the Ajna, you are attracted towards enlightened Masters because they are in egoless state.

(07:10)

Only when you reach Sahasrara, the transcendental entity, the transcendental expression of divine, transcendental expression attracts you. The moment you are established in Sahasrara means you go beyond everything. You start relating, experiencing god as a transcendental reality, the ultimate experience, what we call Shiva. That is why Shiva is always worshipped in the formless form, in the formless form, the Linga, transcendental reality. Only when you reach Sahasrara, you experience the Shiva, that is why I say Shiva is the ultimate expression, ultimate experience. That is why we call him Mahadeva, Mahadeva. Shiva is the ultimate experience. Shiva is the ultimate expression.

(08:27)

The teachings of shudra gods will be only all about fulfilling your dreams. If a shudra god teaches you, he will teach you only the mantras and techniques to make more money, to fulfill your desires, because he wants only that. The man who is established in Svadhisthana, his god will give only techniques to come out of fear. The man who is established in Manipuraka, his god will give only the teachings of peace. How to stop worrying and start living And the man who is, who has experienced Sahasrara only his god can give you the sutras, techniques to reach the transcendental reality. That is why, we call Shiva as Mahadeva and the words from Him, as a ultimate technique to experience the reality, experience the reality. He is ultimate reality. He is ultimate reality and He gives the techniques to the ultimate reality.

(10:06)

If you understand this one thing, 'you project God or Guru from your understanding. In Sahasrara, communion starts happening. There is no two persons. There is no two persons. Only Ajna communication can happen. In Sahasrara, only communion will happen. Only the communion happens. There is no two persons. It is total transcendental reality as experienced by enlightened Masters. The problem is the person who reaches there because there is no two persons, he is just there. But the people who are in the lower levels, they do not know the technique to reach that level. What to do? So, the part of that same consciousness, the transcendental reality, who has experienced that, is creating a situation, an atmosphere by creating one or two questions in that ultimate energy to bring techniques out. It’s like a big ocean of amrita, a small wave is created in the amrita, so that the techniques will come out.

(12:10)

The questions of Devi is the small wave, created in Amrita Sagara. It's like a one bag of cotton, has fallen into the ocean of honey and it is just filled with honey. Practically there is no difference between the cotton and the honey. It has just become one. Somehow for some reason the cotton just moved little bit and the honey which is overflowing inside the cotton has come out. It is like you press that cotton little bit, the honey has oozed-out. The oozed-out honey is what I call Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra. The oozed-out honey only is Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra. The oozed-out amrita is only Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra which can again put you into that same amrita state, amritattva, nithyananda state, eternal bliss state.

(13:29)

In Sahasrara, there is no questioner and the person who is questioned. There is nobody to ask the question. There is nobody to answer. Then how…... how the world will have the techniques? So just out of compassion, He Himself took His own form in the form of Anandeshwari. He Himself speaks to Himself. He speaks to Himself. You can't even call this Tantra as a discussion between two persons because it is so intimate, so beautiful. You can't call this Tantra as a discussion between two person. No. No argument, no discussion, no logical answers. If you see any other scripture, whether it is Brahma sutra or Upanishad or Gita, it is always question and answer. The more the questions, more the answers, the more the book is popular. If you see the Brahma Sutra it is continuously filled with kandana mandana vadas. Kandana and mandana nothing else, goes on condemning everything. Questions after questions, answers after answers; literally you will have fever if you read Brahma sutra for one hour. Just read that book for one hour, you will have fever. Your whole being will be drained. The whole being will be drained. So much of arguments. Literally they…they just fall on you. It's like a inserting a crowbar, not even a crowbar, just drilling you.

(15:53)

All the Shastras are given by gods to man. From enlightened to unenlightened. It's like a drilling. Question-answer, question-answer, question-answer. All the stotras are given by man to gods. Shastras are given by gods to man. Stotras are given by man to god. Tantra is given from god to god. From god to god. God to god. You can't even say god to god, god-god. You can't even say god to god. God, that's all. All the shastras are misunderstood because the person who speaks has got the dictionary of existence, the person who hears has got the dictionary of society. Two dictionaries can never match. Understand. If I speak in English and you start referring the Hindi dictionary, for my sounds if you refer Hindi dictionaries, how much of Me you will get? It is very dangerous sometime. It is really dangerous sometime.

(17:46)

In English if you say bus, means what, bus. In Hindi what it means, enough. If you refer Hindi dictionary for the sounds which I create in English, how much of misunderstanding will happen. Much more misunderstandings have happened with shastras because totally two different dictionaries. Dictionary of existence and dictionary of society. Sameway with stotras, the dictionary of emotion, dictionary of poet and dictionary of prose. The person who sings, he is man, to whom it is addressed... to god, but other fellow beings also heard. Of course, god is not going to make any meaning. He knows the meaning. He knows the emotion but when you understand stotras, you are going to have your dictionary.

(19:02)

Dictionary of poet and dictionary of prose; dictionary which is used by a poet, dictionary which is used by a writer is totally different. A man who is a poet speaks from different dimension. The man who is a prose writer understands from the different dimension. But you are saved little bit, you don't misunderstand much. With shastras, it is other language dictionary you refer. With stotras, at least that same language but different dictionary. With shastras, english and hindi. With stotras, same hindi-hindi but Mumbai hindi and Tamil Nadu hindi. You refer the same hindi dictionary but for Mumbai hindi you refer Tamil Nadu hindi dictionary. But nothing much has…. nothing much wrong has happened in the level of shastras…... in the level of stotras. That is why the people who work in the level of stotras, they were never violent. They were never violent because nothing much wrong can happen. It is under the controlled….. control, under the manageable limit.

Next is tantra. Here, because this from god to god, never, never, never, the humanity’s dictionary is used. Practically nobody commented on these books. Everybody commented on the Gita. Anybody, if you claim yourself as acharya, if you claim yourself as a teacher you must comment on this three book Brahma Sutra, Upanishad and Gita. In India it is a basic necessity. It is a basic requirement. If you have to be accepted as a acharya or a teacher, you have to comment on these three book. Means what? You have to supply your dictionary for these three books. If you create your own dictionary for these three books only then you can be called as acharya, teacher.

This Tantra is such a pure scripture, it is delivered by god to god. So, no text torture happened, nobody spoke on it. It is given with such a standard, you can't do any text torture. You can't comment on it. No arguments are possible. No logic is possible. It is expressed in such pure form, only a man who has reached the same state can speak to the disciples who have reached the same state. He can speak only to the disciples who have reached the same state. Only Anandeshwara can speak to Anandeshwari. Only Shiva can speak to Uma. So, let you all become Uma to understand what is spoken here, to understand what I am speaking.

(02:46)

The author god, the Mahadeva, Shiva is the ultimate expression of enlightenment, ultimate expression of the ultimate experience. So, unless you become Uma you can't hear, you can't understand, you can't experience Shiva. Unless you are also established in Sahasrara, you cannot understand the teachings of Sahasrara. You cannot relate with the teachings of Shiva. So now, you need to become Uma for this alchemy to happen. You need to become Anandeshwari for Anandeshwara to descend. Otherwise again, you will be using your dictionaries, you will be using your dictionaries and create shastra out of tantra. You will create one more shastra out of tantra. Never, never, never do that mistake. Don't become intellectual disciples. If you bring your dictionary, you will become representative of hell. Either you become Uma, or you will become representative of hell. Either you become Devi or you will be a devil.

(04:52)

Please be very clear. If you become Devi, you will receive the divine or you will be devil. You will make shastra out of this tantra. Again, you will make shastra out of this tantra. So, let you not be the representative of devils. Let you be the representative of Devi. Let you enter into the state of Sahasrara. Let you just sit like a Devi, passive, Om, letting Me to flow through you. In Sahasrara, teachings are given like a fragrance. In Muladhara teachings are given like a drill bit. You are drilled. The god or the Master who speaks to the people who are established in Muladhara, he speaks like a drill bit. He is like a borewell. He just makes a borewell. That is why so much of boredom in shastras. You feel bored because you are just ‘bored’. They are drilling you. They are crowbars. They are crowbars. In the little higher level, they are like knife, they try to penetrate you. In the ultimate level, the master who is established in Sahasrara is like a fragrance. He never tries to do anything. If you want, if you are alert, if you are aware you can catch His smell which can transform your being.

(07:35)

But the beauty is, if you are established in Muladhara you need to do a lot for the drill bit to happen, for the drilling to happen, you need to give space; you need to do a lot for the drilling to happen. If you are established in Anahata, again you should allow the knife to penetrate. But in Sahasrara, if you are just Be you will feel the smell. You will feel the fragrance. The Alchemy will happen. But you have to be just Be. You have to Be. You have to Be. In Sahasrara, it is more like a smell, fragrance. I am like a fragrance. I am not going to give you any rules. I am not going to give you any regulations. I am not going to give you restrictions. I am just going to ooze-out the bliss. I am just going to radiate this ecstasy. I am just going to let the fragrance happen. If you are alert, aware, catch the smell and experience it.

Still, I am feeling, I have not said whatever I want to say. Still, I am feeling something is not expressed, something is not happened, something is yet to come out. Something is there, still it is not coming out.

(09:53)

So, let you become Devi. Let you all become Anandeshwara, Anandeshwari, so that Anandeshwara can happen. Let you become passive. Let you become a low pressure, so that the energy can flow towards you. Let you relax in the Sahasrara. Don't get stuck in Muladhara or Svadhisthana or Anahata or Vishuddhi or Ajna. Just relax into Sahasrara. One more thing, because these chakras are going up and up and up, you think going to the Sahasrara is very difficult. Because always in your dictionary, you understood going up is difficult but it is not. In my dictionary, when you relax you fall into the Sahasrara. Understand. When you relax, you fall into Sahasrara. In your dictionary Sahasrara is up, in my dictionary also it is up, but you don't have to go up just relax you'll fall into Sahasrara. Even though your logic, your dictionary cannot give the same meaning, understand this much - relax and be passive; without having any dictionary you will fall into Sahasrara, you will fall into Sahasrara.

(11:54)

Understand. Word ‘rising’ or word ‘falling’ is not to be understood with your dictionary. It has to be understood with My dictionary. So, when I say raise up to Sahasrara, I say fall into Sahasrara. Raising to Sahasrara and falling into Sahasrara is one and the same. Relax, you will fall into Sahasrara. You will fall into Sahasrara. The moment you fall into Sahasrara, you will be transformed but as long as you are stuck in Muladhara or Svadhisthana, not only you will you not be able to relate with Me, you will have a deep vengeance against Me. So many Masters are murdered, killed because of the disciples who were caught in Muladhara. Why do you think so many Masters have being murdered? So many Masters have been made to carry the cross because when a disciple is caught in Muladhara, he tries to relate to the Master in the same way. He uses his dictionary. When, so, with wrong disciples when you speak right word, you are in danger. You are in danger.

(13:59)

Shiva has to drink the poison. Why? Again, and again, the Masters are facing so many dangers. Because of the disciples who are caught in Muladhara, in the lower chakras. That is why, this time I have learnt the lesson. This time I have learnt the lesson of not to speak to the people of Muladhara, the highest science of Sahasrara. That is why My lectures My discourses are totally different in public. They are totally different in meditation camps. They are much more different in the next level meditation camps.

In the mass meditation, I address the people who are caught in Muladhara. In ASPs I address the people who are caught in a little higher chakras, Svadhisthana and Manipura. In NSP, in Atmaspurana, I address the people who are caught in Anahata and Vishuddhi. Now, I am going to address the people who are staying in Ajna and Sahasrara.

So, if you can relax into Sahasrara, if you can become Anandeshwari, listen. Become Anandeshwari and listen. Then you will be really able to transform.

(15:59)

If you are in Ajna you will be able to understand. If you are in Sahasrara, you will be able to experience. If you are in Ajna\, communication will happen. If you are in Sahasrara, communion will happen.

If you are in lower-level chakras, you are a danger around Me. You are a danger around Me. Don't miss it. Don't miss it. If you miss it, you will miss it. If you miss it, you will miss it. So be very clear. If you feel honestly, you will not be able to relate with Me, you do not want, if you feel honestly you will not be able to make sincere effort to relate with Me, from the level of Ajna and Sahasrara, better move out of this program, better be little away from Me. It is good for you and for Me. Of course, this time I have decided I am not going to carry cross. This time I have learnt a lesson, I am not going to be stoned. I am not going to take poison. I am not going to do any of these things. This time I have come down with lot more intelligence than you guys. This time I have come down with all the lessons. I have learnt lot of lessons. I have learnt so many lessons. This time I have come down with all the intelligence, all the possible...and this time nothing can be done. Either you catch or you miss.

A small story. One guy who sells the hat, he has to go from his village to the market to sell the hats. One day, on the way to the market, after his food, he was resting under a tree, keeping the baskets full of hats. When he was sleeping, few monkeys which were playing on the tree, they came down and picked up one by one hat. They were all sitting with one-one hat on the top of the tree. This guy got the shock “arey what is this?” Anyhow, he know one ... he knows a technique; whatever you do monkeys will do. So he just danced, monkeys also danced. He just threw that hat, all the monkeys through the hats. He collected all the hats and went away. He’s so happy that he got all his hats back. Anyhow, he went to the market and sold. You know this story?

[00:01:44]

After some time, he had his son. Son was also doing the same business. He had his grandson. Grandson was also doing the same business. When the grandson was going to the market again. The same story happened once more. Again, he had his food, he was sleeping, all the monkeys came down, they picked up the hats. And they went away; they are sitting on the tree. This guy now knows, he knows the technique now. After all his grandfather had the experience; he has learnt the lesson. He also danced. All the monkeys danced. He just threw the cap. Suddenly he saw, one monkey came picked up the cap and went away.

[00:02:48]

He’s just shocked! He said: “What is this? My grandfather told me you will all throw the caps down, throw the caps, throw the hats ”you will all throw the hats and you guys have picked up the this cap this hat also. The monkeys told: “You did not learn from your grandfather, we learnt from our grandfather.” You did not learn from your grandfather, we learnt from our grandfathers. I learnt from my forefathers properly. This time I am not going to do any mistake. Either you catch or you miss. This time, I have learnt the lesson; so I’m neither going to carry the cross, nor going to take the poison or going to be stoned. This time, I know, whatever has to be done.

[00:04:17]

So be very clear! When I am not going to carry the cross, if you miss or mess the side effects will be too much on you. Please be very clear. When I decided I am not going to carry the cross, just because Shiva drank the poison, these guys they escaped. Here the whole story, if you understand the whole story, you will understand this lesson.

[00:05:01]

This Devas and the Asuras, these guys they want Amrita, which will give immortality. Out of their greed, the whole process started. Shiva never told: “Go and churn the Amrita Sagara, Ksheera Sagara.” These guys went and started. So many beautiful things have started coming out. First came the Kamadenu, Indra took away. Then came the Kalpavriksha, again Devatas, they took away. Then came the Kamandalu and aksha Mala, Brahmana took away. Then came a beautiful girl, Maha Lakhsmi, Vishnu went and caught hold of her. Then came the ... the horse, the greatest horse Ashwini... uchchaihshravas. Somebody went and took away. Then came the Airavata. Indra said, let him be in my court, my palace. So many beautiful things came. Then came the Shyamantaka. Vishnu took it for his neck. All these beautiful things, these guys have taken it.

[00:06:32]

The moment poison came. Indra runs to Brahma, Brahma runs to Vishnu, Vishnu runs to Shiva. Poor guy who did not take anything, who did not take anything, He has to take the poison. If He has not taken the poison, what would have happened? (inaudible) Whole thing would have been destroyed. Side-effect would have been too much. This time, I have decided not to take the poison. Because these guys get so much of confidence, they think “Anyhow, even if you poison comes what is there, he will drink.” With that confidence, they go on producing poisons. They go on create poisons. This time, I am very clear, I'm not going to take any poison. So the responsibility is on you! Don't create. Either become Devi or disappear or disappear.

[00:08:02]

So, understand these few things. Let you become Anandeshwari. For the Anandeshwara to happen here. Let the Shiva, ultimate auspiciousness, ultimate auspiciousness; Shiva means auspiciousness. Let the ultimate auspiciousness, Shiva, happen here and now. Thank you.

If you have any questions, or you want some more clarifications. Mhm.

[00:00:20]

Participant: Everything you told from Muladhara to Sahasrara...inaudible …. (inaudible) ... its sweet person’s response for it

[00:00:30]

HDH: Yes, if you have become Anandeshwari, you are here. If you have not become Anandeshwari, even if you are here, you are not here. There are so many people who are not here, but going to become Anandeshwaris. For them also I am speaking. I am speaking to My Anandeshwari. I am just speaking to my being. That’s why I am enjoying. I am just enjoying every word. I am speaking to my Anandeshwari. If you have become Anandeshwari, you will hear. You will be here, and you will hear.

[00:01:14]

Whomsoever is going to become Anandeshwari, for them also I am speaking. Yes, put your question.

[00:01:12]

Participant: Swami my question is that from Muladhara to Sahasrara, there are different levels …inaudible HDH: Loud. Participant: …inaudible but with the same person, with the same wave.. they respond from .. different different levels… HDH: Yes, beautiful question. “Can same person relate to you in the same day from different, different levels.” Even in the same, same hour he can change. Even after every moment, even the same moment, he may relate with me from different, different chakras because you are split personalities. Because you are not integrated, you are not one person. You are not one person. You are the totality of so many personalities. Your own mind - Your eyes are pulling you to see something. Your ears are pulling you to hear something. Your mouth is pulling you to eat something. Your body is pulling you to experience something. You are split personality.

[00:02:30]

Man as such is neurotic. So because you have a split personality, what to say about same day, in same moment, you will be able to, you will be relating with me from different, different chakras, from different, different levels. So, now you understood the problems. Be little more intelligent. It’s nothing wrong. Just be a little more intelligent. You don’t need to do anything. You need just little courage, to let go. Be courageous. Because Tantra is for devi, Anandeshwari. Uma is courageous. So be very clear, let you become Uma, let you become Devi.

[00:03:44]

Shiva is the ultimate luxury, because the price is your ego. The more you play, more you get the luxurious thing. The ultimate payment which you can give is ego. That is why I say; I am the ultimate luxury. Siva, shiva is the ultimate luxury. You can have Him only when you pay the ultimate price - your ego, which is simply priceless: worthless, not even priceless, worthless. which is worthless.

[00:04:26]

So, beautifully Ramana Ramarishi sings, ‘Thandhadhu Endhanai Kondadhu Undhanai Sadhurar Yaar Kolo Arunachala’. I have given me, and got you, who is intelligent, tell me Arunachala. I have given me, and had you, who is intelligent? Tell me Arunachala. ‘Thandhadhu Endhanai Kondadhu Undhanai Sadhurar Yaar Kolo Arunachala’ He says; I have given me ‘Sariram Roha Mayam, Mana Soga Mayam, Atma Dhukka Mayam’. I have given these three and got you, ‘Sariram Dhegam Teja Mayam, Manaha Jnana Mayam, Atma Anandamayam’. When you give ‘Sariram Roha Mayam, Manam Dhukka Mayam Anma Soga Mayam’ you receive, ‘Dhegam Teja Mayam, Manam Jnana Mayam, Anma Anandamayam’

[00:05:54]

So, Ramana Ramarishi asks Arunachala: “Who is intelligent? Tell me, ‘Thandhadhu Endhanai Kondadhu Undhanai Sadhurar Yaar Kolo Arunachala’; But I want only this business. I want only this transaction. I will tell you, drop your head, drop your ego. Drop your sufferings. I am here to digest. I am here to burn. I am here to do this exchange offer. I am here to do this exchange offer. Thank you.

[00:06:47]

HDH reads a question: Please explain briefly what is meant by low self, low esteem or self low esteem. Low esteem and low self-esteem is one and the same. From whom this question? Ah. Low esteem or low self-esteem is one of the same. Whatever esteem you have about yourself, except you being God, it is low self esteem; because you are God. Whatever esteem you have about yourself, less than you being Shiva, you have low self-esteem. Because you are Shiva.

[00:07:34]

Somebody asked Me: “How can you sing ‘Shivoham, Shivoham’, is it not too egoistic?” I told: “No, ‘Dasoham Dasoham’ is the egoistic. “Shivoham Shivoham” is reality. ‘Dasoham, Dasoham' only is the ego.”

Name Program: Shiva Sutras

Date: 25 January 2005
Venue: Adikailaasa, Bengaluru, India|

In this video Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism HDH #Nithyananda Paramashivam talks in-depth about the difference between questioning and deep listening. If the urge has become urgent, if the question has become a question and if the longing for enlightenment is authentic, then deep listening is required. Only when we have entered into the state of deep listening can we truly understand the Sutras and experience the ultimate beyond the questioning mind.

The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam His Divine Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam (HDH) is the reviver of #KAILASA - the ancient enlightened civilization and the great cosmic borderless Hindu nation. The superficial seekers are the most dangerous people. They have everything. They have a car, bungalow, bank balance, they have everything in their house. Their hall is filled with all the ivory items, all the showcase things but they feel they are missing spirituality. So they want to have a seeking also as a one more item in their showcase. They say, “I am also a seeker. I am also a seeker. I go to Nithyanada Swami and I have done ASP. See I am a healer, look at the batch.” You wanted Me just in your showcase not in your heart. Lot of people window shoppers; the window shoppers keep Me also in the showcase glass. So that they can show to the people ‘you see Nithyananda Swami.’ 😊😊 As long as the urge has not become urgent, as long as the question has not become quest, you can’t think of….think yourself as a seeker. Enlightenment should become a basic necessity. Only then the real alchemy starts happening. As long as you can pull your life without enlightenment; as long as you think you can pull your life, you can run your life without enlightenment, be happy forget about the enlightenment. Forget about the whole thing go and carry your life happily.

(02:30)

Ramakrishna says beautifully if somebody’s hair is burning, their head is .. the fire is in their head will they keep quiet? Will they say ‘oh later on we can take care’? Will they say, “oh we have enough time. We have still many more years. Later on we can take care.” Will they think in that way? The moment fire happens in his head he tries to quench it; he runs towards the water. If you have such a deep feeling only then this sutras are for you. Only then this sutras are for you. Yesterday somebody asked Me, “Swamiji how to become Anandeswari?” I was telling, “Unless you become Anandeswari you can’t understand this Shiva sutras.” Unless you reach the same status, no same state, unless you reach the same consciousness you can’t imbibe these sutras. Somebody asked Me “Please throw more light on what is Anandeshwari state or what is the state of Devi. How can we achieve it? How can we achieve it?”

(04:11)

These questions shows very clearly the mental state of Devi or you can say no mind state of Devi. These sutras very clearly explain what is the state of Devi? I will speak on these state, on these questions, one by one. Anybody who enters into this state they will be able to understand these sutras; whether today or tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Any moment anybody enters into this state they will be able to understand these sutras. If you don’t enter into this state even if you are sitting here you can’t understand this sutras. That is why they say, calf will go near the cow only half an hour per day but in that half hour it will drink the milk and come back. But the bee, fly, it will be sitting on the cow, twenty four hours but it will drink only the blood, not the milk. So only when you enter into this state of Anandeswari, Uma, Devi you will be able to experience this Shiva sutras. Beautiful word - ‘let My doubts be cleared’. She just opens herself and offers it to Shiva and requests Shiva with full surrender “Please take care of Me.” She never instructs Shiva, ‘answer My questions’. Arjuna poor guy, he says to Krishna “answer my questions.” That is why Krishna only gave answers.

(06:24)

As I was telling you, all answers will create more questions. If it has not created more questions be very clear you have not understood the answer. You have not understood the answer. You see when you have problem... there are two kinds of mentality. One is the person who thinks he has got problem and he knows the solution. He only wants somebody to help him, support him to get the solution. This is one kind of mentality. Another one kind of mentality - “I have a problem. I don’t know what is the solution. Please help me.” In the first thing, you think you have buddhi, only you don’t have shakti. The second thing you understand, you neither have buddhi nor have shakti. The moment you think God can, God has got shakti but he doesn’t have buddhi, only then, only when you think He has got shakti but no buddhi you start guiding Him.

(07:37)

Look at this. Arjuna also has got problem; Devi also has got problem. Arjuna goes and opens the whole thing and says...he says to Krishna “Krishna I have all these problem, answer my questions.” Actually he himself gives the solution also for Krishna. Arjuna himself says ‘answer my questions’. Means what? If you answer my questions, my problem will be solved. So Arjuna’s ego is not completely surrendered. Still he thinks he knows the solution for his problems. If he knows the solution for his problems, why he is still suffering? His ego has not riped enough, it has not become matured enough to surrender. That is why he asks, he puts the problem and gives the guidance for Krishna to solve his problem. I have seen people coming and telling Me, “Swamiji put your hand on My head.” I tell them “What, what do you want?” “No, no, no I have a stomach problem put your hand on my head and heal.” I am surprised how do they know where should I put My hand?😊 And if they simply open up the problem and tell Me and if they request “Swamiji please heal Me.” Then things can happen. But what they say, they say the problem and they give Me the solution also. We know the solution, you just do what we say. We don’t need to know anything else, we know the solution, you just do what I say.

(09:41)

And I have seen few people just taking My hand by force and keeping it on their head. 😊 They think they will be healed. And I have seen people coming and explaining their problem and finally they themselves will give the solution and they will tell “Swamiji just do this much. That is enough”. They come and tell the problem and the solution and they guide Me how I should solve their problems. 😊 Then I ask them “Why did you come to Me? Why did you come to Me?” Either you have a problem or you don’t have a problem that’s all. The moment you have a problem be very clear you are totally ignorant. The problem is, the moment you accept you are totally ignorant you become enlightened. But you never agree, you never accept you are totally ignorant. That is too much. People always think, “I am less than Swami, that is... that I can understand. But I am surely more than all other people. I am less than Swami, okay, but I am surely more than all the other people who are here.” I am less than Swami somehow they are... it’s okay, it has to be accepted because it has to be accepted. No choice. 😊 But the other... another one statement is too much - ‘Less than Swami okay but surely more than all the people who are here. I am not so ignorant. I am not so ignorant.’

(11:33)

I have seen many people arguing Me idiotic way. And they know that they have a problem, they explain their problem. When I try to give their solution, they are not ready to take it. They are not ready to take it. They bring so many other arguments. So many other nonsensical arguments. And they think they know the solution. They want to Me to act according to their solution. Actually Arjuna doesn’t want anything else, Arjuna just wants to….Arjuna just wants the Krishna should act according to the instruction of Arjuna. I have seen many people coming and telling Me and they … they... they know, they know there is some problem. They come and tell Me their problem and they give Me the instruction also. The problem is because you are continuously firing me. Don’t fire me. They give Me the solution also and they want Me to act according to their solution. According to their solution. Then who is the Master? Then who is the master? 😊 Who is master? They are the master. The man, the person who thinks ‘even though I am not enlightened I am something.’ I am somebody, means what? Not even knowing they are ignorant. When you don’t know you don’t know, you don’t even know you don’t know. When you know you don’t know, at least you know you don’t know.

(13:20)

This is what I say thinking that you know without knowing is what I call intellect. Either you are a buddha or buddhu that’s all. Either you are Shiva or shava that’s all. Either you are a Muruga or Murkha that’s all. Either you are shakti or sakati, that’s all. There is no betw... viamedia. There is no viamedia. People ask Me, “Is there no viamedia solution Swamiji?” There is no viamedia; either fall here or fall there anywhere if you fall you will become enlightened. But as long as you play this middle game, as long as you play this middle game you will never achieve. Arjuna is continuously trying to play the middle game. He says his problem; because too much of suffering, he can’t bear, so he opens up. But he thinks he knows the solution also. And he instructs the Master to act to give the solution as he wants.

(14:49)

I have seen some of the people coming and telling Me their problems but they want the solution as they want... the customized version. They want the solution as they want. They do not want My solution. They give Me some suggestions, instructions, preferences - ‘if solution is in this way, it will be really nice.’ Not only they give Me the question below that they give Me a small bracket, few words in the bracket - ‘If the answer is in this way, I will be very happy.’ Or ‘If the answer is in this way, it is really nice.’ Like a, it is like a exam, in exams, examinations they give you the question and they give you the instruction also ‘answer should be only in fifteen line, answer should be only in twenty five line, answer should be only in one page.’ Be very clear if you give a bracket along with your question you are doing examination; you’re examining Me. You are not asking for solution. You are only doing examination for Me. Throughout My life I have never done any examinations. 😊 And I know all techniques to escape from examinations. 😊 Be very clear if you try to examine Me, if you want the answers as you want you will simply miss the whole thing.

(16:31)

Living around Me you can understand all these things; inch by inch how you are doing, how you are missing. Actually when I started this one year course, I made a statement “Being around Me for one year is too much to become enlightened.” Staying here is not being here; staying here is not being here.

Title: Are You Listening?
Name Program: Shiva Sutras
Session on: The difference between questioning and deep listening. Deep listening as a path to enlightenment.
Date: 25 January 2005
Venue: Adikailaasa, Bengaluru, India|

In this video Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism HDH #Nithyananda Paramashivam explains that there are two different kinds of seekers: the “Arjuna” type and the “Devi” type. The #Arjuna type will, just like how Arjuna continued to ask questions to Krishna, ask questions but already have the answer and solution formulated themselves. The Devi type simply asks to remove the doubt and surrenders as to what this will look like. Furthermore, HDH Nithyananda Paramashivam elaborately speaks about the difference between arrogance, ignorance and innocence, and the necessity for both Budhi (wisdom) and #Shakti (energy) in our lives.

When you want solution under your conditions you are nothing more than a Arjuna. You will have only more and more confusion, arjuna vishada yoga .That’s why they call Arjuna’s confusion. There are only two kinds of seekers: Arjuna type and Devi type, that's all, no other type. Only two types of seekers - Arjuna type and Devi type. People come and tell Me their problem and they don’t let My intelligence work on their problem. They themself give the solution and they just want My support. They just tell Me, “Give Me your sakthi, not your solutions. They come and tell Me I have problem with my husband Swamiji” And the next sentence they themself make “Please see that he comes, stays with me, he listen to my words, he obeys me.” They never even let Me advise them. Why don't you... you see, if they have just opened up the problem and say, ‘I have some problem with my husband’, I would have advised them. I would have really seen the problem, looked into the problem and I would have given something, total solution or dissolving the problem; dissolving the problem would have happened. But generally what they do, they do not want to dissolve the problem. They just want only the support; they want Me to act as they want. They want Me to give the energy for what they want, that's all nothing else. If they are open and surrender I will just look into the problem. Sometimes we also do mistakes. So some right advice or idea should have or right intelligence should have happened to you. There is every possibility he will transform. But they do not want all those things, they want readymade, readymade replies. People are actually afraid I may directly point that problem is in your side only. That is why before I start speaking they give Me the 😃solution. Don't speak much swamiji. Listen here this is my problem. I have no other way I have come, that is okay. But don’t talk much, this is what I want, tell only this much. Tell only this much.

(02.52)

This is what I call intellect. Putting the question, along with a small bracket, along with a small bracket. I want only this type of solution. If you can, give Me, otherwise keep quiet. No, exactly that is what you mean. I am clearly verbalizing it. You are not verbalizing it out of politeness. I am verbalizing it. When Gita, when Arjuna asked Krishna, putting all his questions and asking, “Oh Krishna answer my questions.” It means what, Arjuna knows, if Krishna gives answers his problems will be solved. He never understood, his problem is much deeper than question answer session. No problem can be solved by question answer session. It can be solved only by experience. But Arjuna thinks all his problem are just intellectual. So it will be solved by, solved by answers. That is why he gives a suggestion to Krishna; after putting the problem, he makes a small bracket, ‘answer my questions’. Means what? He says ‘I know the solutions, you just do as I say. You just act as I say. I will take care.’

(04:25)

But here Devi says, “Let My doubts be cleared. I can’t say ‘answer my questions’ or ‘don’t answer my questions. I do not know what you will do, that is up to you. This is the problem I have, I am surrendering it. Please take care.” Devi trusts Shiva has got sakthi and buddhi. But usually we only think, we trust God has got sakthi but never we think God has got buddhi also. As long as you want God to act as you want, what it means? ‘I know you have sakthi, but do as I say. Don’t do on your own.’ What do you mean when you ask God, “Oh God, give Me this, give Me that.” When you say, when you ask God, ‘give Me one crore rupee, so that I will have big car, big house.’ You say, you know God has got power, that is why you pray otherwise you will not pray. You know that he has got sakthi, you are ready to believe he has got sakthi but you are not ready to believe he has got buddhi that is why you go on pestering him. Give, give, give. Why do you continuously ask? Because you believe he has got sakthi but not buddhi. So Arjuna also is not ready to believe Krishna has got buddhi. That is why he says please answer my questions. The moment you say the word ‘answer my questions’, you show very clearly, your arrogance. Your arrogance. Your ignorance. Ignorance can never be healed.

(06:33)

Innocence can be healed. The man who is innocent he can achieve. Ignorance is a cunning game. In ignorance you think you know the solution, you only want the person to act as you want. Beautiful story, there is beautiful story in Mahabharata. Before the war, before the war starts, Duryodhana and Dharmaraja prab... Dharmaraja, both of them are going to the Krishna’s palace to seek help from Krishna because both are relatives of Krishna. Both of them want Krishna’s help. One representative of Pandavas and one representative of Kauravas; both these guys are going. Krishna was sleeping; the Pandavas representative he goes and sits at the feet of Krishna. The Kauravas' representative - he goes and sits in the, near the head of Krishna. The moment Krishna opens his eyes, he sees the person who is sitting at the feet, who is sitting at the feet. He talks to them, “how are you, when did you come, what for you came.” The guy says, “I have come to have your help.” He says, “Surely I will do. Don’t worry.” Then he turns and sees the other guy, he is also waiting. He also asks “I want your help.” Then says, “Surely I will do. Don’t worry.”

(08:27)

Now he asks, “I will be in one side my powers, my force, my army, my ministers, my country, my whole thing will be in the other side. I will be in one side, and my army will be in the other side. My powers will be in the other side which one you want.” The Kauravas representative thought, “Let us have sakthi. Let us have sakthi.” Pandavas representative he thought, “Let us have buddhi. Let us have buddhi.” Who won the war you know. The man who choose the buddhi, the man who trusted God has got buddhi won the war, won the game. If you trust he has got only sakthi, you will never win the life. The moment you trust he has got buddhi also you surrender. Only then things can start happening. As long as you think, he has only sakthi, but not buddhi you will never achieve in the life, you will not achieve anything in the life.

(10:00)

When you start believing he has got shakthi , religion starts. When you start believing he has got buddhi , spirituality starts. When you start believing he has got shakthi religion starts, you start doing puja, you start pampering him. You start doing all possible things. Why? So that you can have... you just continuously bribe him so that you can have what you want. All your sankal, puja’s done with sankalpa is nothing but bribing. Why do you go and tell your name in front of God , he doesn’t know your name? Doesn’t know your name? You go to temple and you tell your, not only your name, your... your father’s name, your forefather’s name, your gotra and not only that in that sankalpa they describe Bharata Varshe Bharatha kande … means what? They des even geographically they say where we are. Even we know where we are, God doesn’t know where he is or where we are? 😃 We describe everything in detailed way, why? “Please don’t give the boons to somebody else , I am doing puja. Send the courier properly to my address. Courier should not reach somebody else’s address. Note down the address properly , be very clear listen here.” 😃 You give a… ahhh? Participant: Pin code is very much important HDH: You give a clear pin code address, STD, phone number, email, website address, everything why? You do not want the courier parcel to reach to somebody else. You are afraid that your parcel will, that the boons which is supposed to come to you will reach somewhere else. All your puja’s, all your bribing techniques proves very clearly your arrogance, which again and again says God has got shakthi not buddhi.

(12:27)

I went to Arunachala temple this time, before doing the abhishekam... on My janma nakshatra day we went, before doing the abhishekam, that priest because he knows my name he started doing the sankalpa, he said Nithyananda swami something , I said stop stop stop. And he was very proud that he has made sankalpa without asking Me the name; because that is the janma nakshatra he knows the nakshatra of that day, chitra nakshatra. So he knows the nakshatra so he thought ‘if I just make he will be very happy that already he knows all the detail.” But I told him stop stop, he was just shocked. He asked, “Why why swamiji?” “We don’t make sankalpas in our name, we make only in the name of guru parampara. If you want any name, use the name of Ramakrishna and Sarada Devi.” Always if you have come with Me to any temples you can see , anywhere sankalpa means I tell Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi that's all. Why do you give your detailed address, gotra, nakshatra everything? Because you think he has got shakthi not buddhi. That is why you want your whole name, your father’s name, your forefather’s name.

(14:00)

But now they are coming out with a detailed research - pregnancy is totally independent they say. Now they are coming with lot of lot of researches. And Tantra declares this thousands of years ago, pregnancy is totally independent, totally independent. Of course it is just shaking the root of medical world, medical world. Anyhow, once we enter into the Tantra I’ll explain, I’ll explain. Only then you will be able to understand. But we go on repeating in front of him father’s name, forefather's name and his father’s name and the gotra, kula, nakshatra everything. It shows very clearly you believe he has got shakthi but you don’t believe he has got buddhi. And this temple respect, that’s also a one more big problem. And people believe if the garland which is offered in the, on the kalasa, if it is offered on your head only then you get the power. The water which was on the kalasa if it is sprinkled on your head only then you get blessing. Otherwise God doesn’t know that you have come and gone. And there is one more thing, habit they go to that Sandeswara temple and they register their name that ‘I have come please note down and tell Shiva afterwards that I have come and gone.’ Because it is too crowded he he might not have noticed me. So please remind him that I came and went. Please see that he takes care of me.

(16:13)

I have seen few people, they will come and have the healing, and then later on they go and tell Palani appan please remind swamiji about this problem. And they are not ready to believe that I will solve the problem. They would have told Me, I would have given them the assurance or some word, “I’ll take care, don’t worry, later on I will see, I will tell you when to do.” But they are not ready to relax. What they will do? They will go to Palani Appan and tell, “Palani appan please remind Swamiji.” See actually if you have not told Me and asking Palani appan is not, nothing wrong but I have seen many people after Me assuring them also they will go and tell Palani appan, “Please remind Swamiji, please remind Swamiji.” That is what going to Sandikeswara and telling, “Please remind Shiva , please remind Shiva.” You don’t believe that God will take care. You wanted some more support. You believe he has got shakthi but you don’t believe he has got buddhi. When you believe he has got shakthi , the religion starts. when you believe he has got buddhi the spirituality starts . Tantra is for the people who are spiritual not for the people who are religious. That is why Devi starts with a beautiful word, “Let My doubts be cleared.” This shows a deep surrenderfulness of Devi. Deep passive waiting without knowing what is going to happen is what is passive surrender. That is what I call passive surrender, total surrender, a deep waiting. Actually the moment you decide I will wait forever simply things starts happening.

Deep passive waiting without knowing what is going to happen is what is passive surrender. That is what I call passive surrender. Total surrender a deep waiting; actually the moment you decide I will wait forever simply thing starts happening. As long as you are in a hurry, you are agitated, you stop things happening in you. It’s like you try your best, the lotus to blossom. What will you do? You will open the petals by hand. Will the Lotus flower? It will never be Lotus flower. Lotus flower can be called as Lotus flower only it blossoms by itself. Give little space. The moment you decide to wait, simply things starts happening. You don’t have to wait anymore. You have to wait till you decide to wait. You have to wait till you decide to wait. The moment you decide to wait you don’t have to wait anymore. You don’t have to wait anymore.

(01:55)

Beautiful story told by Ramakrishna. Once the Narada.. Narada is a joker actually in the puranas. He is a comedian. 😊 Spiritual comedian. Narada is going towards the Vaikunta. On the way he saw one yogi sitting and meditating. The Yogi asked Narada, “Oh Narada please ask Vishnu how long I should wait? When will I become enlightened“ Narada said “Surely I will ask.” And he was going. Again on the way one more person he was just jumping and dancing under a tree. He asked Narada, “Oh Narada please ask Visnu when I will have His darshan?” Please be very clear he never asked when I will become enlightened. He asked “When I will have His darshan? Tell Him to grace me how long should I wait for His grace?“ Narada says “Surely I will ask. Don’t worry.” Then Narada goes to Vaikunta, comes back with the replies. The yogi asked him “What, what God said?” Narada says, “Visnu told me you will have to wait for four more janmas to become enlightened.” The guy simply fell into depression, “Ohhh four janmas what will I do?” He started weeping. And the other guy who was dancing, jumping around... must be our healer. 😊😊😊 The guy who was jumping around he asked, “What did Vishnu say? What did God say?” Narada said “You see God told me that how many leaves are there in this tree, that many jenmas you have to wait. Only then you will become enlightened. Only then His grace will come on you.” The moment this guy heard this, “Oh anyhow that is, that is alright. But He told me that He will grace na. That is enough. He told me that He will grace, that is enough. How long I have to wait I don’t bother. He gave me the assurance that He will grace. That is enough.” He started jumping and dancing. The moment he uttered this word “He gave me the assurance, He will grace me that is enough. How long I have to wait I don’t care.” The moment lightning happened and divine descended; he became enlightened.

(04:52)

So a deep patience, the decision to wait is what I call surrender; a total patience and relaxed mood. In My own life as long as I was doing meditation I never became enlightened. As long as I was doing all the practices, tapas, I was so agitated nothing happened. Actually only after becoming enlightened I came to know because of My tapas I postponed My enlightenment. I postponed My enlightenment. At the age of twelve already I had enlightenment. The blueprint is already happened. To tell you honestly at the age of twelve I became enlightened. Because I do not know that I have become enlightened I started, I tried to catch that experience. I tried to possess the Nithyananda. The moment I tried to possess, it started slipping away from Me... like a soap. Try to catch the soap, what will happen? It will slip. Because I was trying to catch that experience, that experience was slipping from Me. The day I decided ultimately no more catching, no more fishing, no more net, no more searching, no more seeking, enough. When I decided to relax, wait, simply it happened. That day you decide you wait simply things will start happening.

(06:48)

People ask Me, “Swamiji I decided to wait but it’s not happening.” 😊 It’s a nice game. When you have decided to wait, how can you ask the second statement? People ask Me, “Swamiji yesterday itself I decided to wait but still enlightenment is not happening. What to do?” 😊 How can you say you have decided to wait if you are still asking? The problem is the cognitive shift, the whole energy should turned towards the waiting. Not, not cheating, waiting. Have you seen the kids, they play hide and seek game. They cover their eyes with the hands but you can always see that between the gaps they will be seeing. They will cover their eyes so that you will under…..you think that they have covered their eyes. But they will see through the hole. Even our guys at the time of meditation I’ve seen they put the thin ribbon and in the vishuddhi running time I have seen they will run in a clear path properly 😊 without hitting anybody from there to here they will run. Without touching anybody they will run so carefully. 😊 How? They just put the blindfold so that others will think that they can’t see but they will be seeing. Hide and seek game. So when you asked ‘yesterday itself I decided to wait still I have not become enlightened’ you are again playing this same game.

(08:38)

You wanted others to know you are wait.. you have covered your eyes but you have not covered. Same thing you wanted others to know, you wanted Me to know that you have started waiting but you have not really started waiting. You see you can cheat Me but not you. You can’t cheat yourself. Enlightenment happens from you not from Me. If it is from Me long before you would have cheated and taken from Me. 😊 If it hap...if it happens from Me, if it can be taken away from Me long before either you would have you would have bribed Me or told something and you would have taken. It is very easy. But enlightenment happens from your being not from Me. So if it is supposed to be from somebody else we knows the tech..….. we know the technique to take it from them. But it has to happen from us. So no other way, you have to have a complete understanding, complete understanding. Otherwise you can always come and fight with Me. I started doing what you said. But nothing happened. You can always come and shout. You can cry. You can weep. You can try to do everything. But it never happens from Me, it happens from you. If I had, if I can give long before I would have also given. But it is you who is supposed to receive. It is you who is supposed to receive.

(10:30)

So you can’t play this hide and seek game. You have to completely blindfold, you can’t play the game of using the thin ribbon. You can’t play the game of covering your eyes with your hands and looking through the gap. No. Here no game is going to help. A utter, clear, total decision to wait is what is the basic necessity to become enlightened. That is why in Zen monasteries when somebody enters they say “Wait”. That’s all, nothing else. They don’t say anything else. All the Master’s have used this technique, the waiting technique. Krishna says, ‘Again and again I will come’, means what? He is asking us to wait. He is asking us to practice waiting. If it is just a fact then five thousand years over still He has not come back. At least He could have sent some representative saying “I will… I will be back, I am getting little delayed. My car is repair.” Or some message, tell the people “My car is getting repaired, soon I will start.” No message. Gone forever. When they say I will come back they mean learn the technique of waiting. The moment you learnt the technique of waiting they will be back in you. They will be back in you.

(12:27)

In every religion they are waiting. Waiting is a ultimate technique. So in this question Devi is beautifully expressing her deep surrender; not even question She just says “Let My doubts be cleared. Let My doubts be cleared.” She never gives any bracket. After giving Her problems She never gives any bracket, no suggestions, no priorities, no preferences. People come and ask Me “Swamiji I have heart problem.” And next statement, naturally I will say “Please be here I will heal.” But they do not want that solution. They say “I have a heart problem, can you heal me from the house itself?” 😊 “Can you heal me from the house itself.” They have priorities, means what? They do not want to solve the problem. They do not want to dissolve the problem. They just want to have a mental support. Anyhow we have come all the way, we were going through this Mysore, Bangalore road, just we saw the board. Alright let us go and have the darshan, so we came. The casual window shopping, casual visit, casual window shopping.

(14:07)

So be very clear either have the urgency or forget the urge itself. Don’t play the game which is in between. The guys who are playing the between game, they end in the worst depression. Because they think they are seekers. But never they start seeking. As long as the blood is hot there will be no problem. You will have a good health, everything will go well; after the middle age I have seen so many spiritual seekers, thousands of seekers, the moment, the so called the seekers, the moment blood becomes little cool after the middle age around forty to forty five, they fall into the worst depression. Because they have not done; they have not achieved what they are supposed to achieve in the young age. Young age all they did was playing in the name of seeking, getting into the mud horse and entering into the river. You can sit down on a mud horse and take a photograph that’s okay. For photograph it is okay. You can keep it in your showcase, but not for travelling, not for entering into the hor.. into the river.

(15:44)

Just saying I am also a seeker you can have a photograph next, you can stand next to Me have a photograph and have it in your house. Perfectly alright. For that that’s okay. But don’t play this game of mud horse after coming here; after coming here. Here the mud horse game is not going to work. You are entering into a new life. You are entering into the river. So please be very clear, now just bend and see whether you are sitting on a mud horse or real horse. Check once, not once, twice, whether you are sitting on the mud horse or real horse. Don’t believe the mud horse. Don’t believe the mud horse and enter into the seeking. The moment you crossed the age of forty or forty five you will come to know whether you travelled on the mud horse or the real horse. Don’t take the risk, you are entering into the river. Let you be very clear about the risk which you are taking. At least the people who are becoming ashramites be very clear, don’t travel in the mud horse. The people who are staying outside, who are having their house and everything they can always have a photograph of Me. It is just like sitting on the mud horse and taking a photograph. You can have it in the show case, okay, no problem. They can stand next to Me and have a photograph and keep it in their showcase, “You see Nithyanada Swami came to our house. Look at this, Nithyanada Swami, He came to our house He is eating with me you see. 😊 He is sitting with me you see.” Okay for that perfectly alright. But don’t come and start saying inside the ashram.

(18:00)

If you have not really felt the urgency better 😊 you also have a showcase and the photograph and sit quietly happily with it. If you don’t have urgency don’t enter into the river. If you have superficial seeking, if you don't have the patience to wait, if you don’t have the courage to surrender don’t take this risk. Because after 45 you will enter into the worst depression. I have seen the people who are so called seekers falling into the worst depression even comitting suicide after the 45. Because once the blood becomes little cool what happens? You have nothing else to hold on. Then you understand even your seeking is just a cover. Even your seeking is just a cover. Then there is nothing else to stick. Understand. Be very clear whether you are seeking or doing the game of hide and seeking; whether you are really seeking or doing the game of hide and seeking, find out. Find out from you; it’s a warning for you all. It is not a advice, it is not a discourse. It is a Warning! Don’t miss.

(19:42)
