KAILASA is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between INTERFAITH FOOD SHUTTLE and the SOVEREIGN ORDER OF SHRIKAILASA aimed at addressing the current global challenges, taking action to ensure peaceful coexistence, tolerance, understanding, harmony and interaction among peoples of different cultural, faiths and religious backgrounds and identities, through the promotion of interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
INTER-FAITH FOOD SHUTTLE is a nonpartisan, 501c3 non-profit organization and a member of the Feeding America National Network of Food Banks committed to ending hunger. Inter-faith Food Shuttle’s mission is to FEED, TEACH self-sufficiency, GROW healthy foods, and CULTIVATE innovative approaches to end hunger. As a Feeding America Food Bank, Inter-faith Food Shuttle recovers and distributes food to low-income families and persons in North Carolina and works to provide programs designed to empower people with the skills to meet their own food needs through culinary job training, beginner gardening, and cooking healthy on a budget.
