The sequence of worship involved comprehensive care for the Deities and the temple space, which included cleaning, cooking, and ritual offering. The ceremony began with Abhishekam, the sacred bathing ritual performed with reverence, purifying the Deities and the environment. This was followed by Alangaram, the elaborate decoration, which symbolizes the beautification of consciousness and reverence for the Divine form. The rituals culminated with the offering of Neivethyam, consecrated food, symbolizing gratitude and complete surrender to Paramashiva.
