KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES
The KAILASA HOUSTON DAILY TEMPLE ACTIVITIES (Nithyotsavam) represent the unbroken flow of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, meticulously restored and practiced as per the guidance of THE SPH. These rituals are engineered to enable devotees to connect with the divine grace of THE SPH and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in their daily lives. The day began in the auspicious Brahmamuhurta with sacred spiritual offerings and practices, supported by 2 devoted volunteers who ensured the flawless execution of all temple services and ceremonies throughout the day.
The routine commenced with the Suprapatam Seva, the ritualistic process of waking the Deities, which metaphorically awakens the inherent divinity present within every devotee, seeking blessings for the start of a new enlightened day. Following this, devotees engaged in profound spiritual disciplines, including Nithyananda Yoga, performing 108 Prathama Vinyasa Krama, and Nithya Dhyaan Meditation, utilizing ancient Hindu spiritual technologies to align their systems with higher consciousness.
As the morning progressed, the rituals included the Bhoga Murty Alankaram, involving the offering of exquisite clothing and jewels to the Deities of THE SPH, Devi, and Shiva Meru, followed by the majestic Deity Procession welcoming the Bhoga Murthy deities into the main temple area. Central to the daily worship are the morning and evening performances of Sri Guru Puja offered to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM, BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, and Sri Shiva Puja offered to Lord Nithyanandeshwara (Moolavar). The day's worship concluded in the evening with Naivedhyam (food offerings to all the Deities) and the Palliyarai Seva, the sacred process of putting the Deities to sleep accompanied by the offering of the Chamaram. These daily acts of devotion perpetuate the divine presence of KAILASA in Houston, serving as a beacon for the revival of Hindu civilization in the West.
