With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Houston, USA, conducted an auspicious day of devotion and service on Saturday, December 20, 2025. The day’s activities centered around the ancient Hindu tradition of worshiping Lord Ganesha (Vinayagar), the remover of obstacles, reinforcing the importance of starting all endeavors with divine clarity and protection. A special Vinayagar Puja was performed with deep reverence, reaffirming KAILASA Houston’s dedication to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. This sacred offering, performed by dedicated devotees, served to invoke the divine grace of THE SPH and align participants with the enlightened vision of KAILASA for global consciousness awakening.

Special Vinayagar Puja. Breaking Coconut.

The day commenced with the Special Vinayagar Puja. Breaking Coconut. ceremony, a profound act of devotion observed across the Hindu world to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha before embarking on any endeavor. Lord Ganesha is revered as the first manifestation (Prathama Pujya) and the ultimate remover of all obstacles (Vighnaharta), making His worship essential for the success of KAILASA’s ongoing mission of civilizational revival.

This sacred ritual was performed by two dedicated volunteers of the KAILASA Houston ecosystem, who offered Puja, neivedyam (food offering), and an elaborate Aarati (waving of light) to Lord Ganesha. The ritual was performed as an act of seva (selfless service) and a sincere offering to the Divine, manifesting the devotion and gratitude of the entire community to THE SPH. Every action during the worship was rooted in seeking the divine grace and blessings of THE SPH, Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, to ensure the expansion of KAILASA’s humanitarian and spiritual efforts globally.

A key feature of the ceremony was the ceremonial breaking of the coconut. In Hindu tradition, the coconut symbolizes the inner self and ego, and its breaking represents the surrender of the ego, purified and offered completely to the Divine Will. By performing this ritual, devotees aligned themselves with THE SPH’s teachings, enabling them to connect with Him and manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in their lives.

This dedicated devotional program demonstrated the commitment of KAILASA Houston to preserving and practicing authentic Hindu sciences and rituals. Such regular devotional services are fundamental to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, ensuring that the ancient spiritual technologies documented in the Hindu scriptures remain vibrant and accessible to all devotees seeking ultimate liberation (Jeevan Mukthi) through the grace of THE SPH.
