With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Madurai celebrated the auspicious Hindu festival of Arudra Darshan on January 3, 2026, by offering the sacred Mandakpadi to Lord Nataraja, the cosmic dancer, and His consort Devi Shivagami. This sacred seva marked a profound connection to the ancient traditions of the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, symbolizing KAILASA's commitment to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma. The day's activities included receiving the grand procession of Lord Nataraja on multiple chariots right at the doorstep of KAILASA Madurai. Dedicated efforts by 2 volunteers ensured the successful completion of the ritual offerings, enriching the lives of 5 people and securing the divine grace of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA.

Arudra Darshan - Mandakpadi

The celebration of Arudra Darshan in Madurai is of immense spiritual significance, honoring Lord Nataraja, the form of Paramashiva as the cosmic dancer, whose Ananda Tandava (blissful dance) symbolizes the five actions of creation, preservation, dissolution, concealment, and grace. On this auspicious day, a spectacular procession commenced from the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Sannidhi. Lord Nataraja arrived on a magnificent Silver elephant-headed Chariot, followed by Devi Shivagami on a separate Ratham (chariot). In total, Lord Nataraja was featured on five distinct chariots as the procession moved through the Amman Sannidhi street and towards Avadi Vidhi before returning.

The moment was highly auspicious for the KAILASA Madurai ecosystem, as the procession passed right by its doorstep. KAILASA Madurai was blessed to receive the divine forms of Sri Nataraja and Shivagami, honoring them with the revered offering of Mandakpadi. This act of direct spiritual connection to the deity during the procession is a deep Hindu tradition, reinforcing the presence of the ultimate reality, Paramashiva, in the physical space of KAILASA. This receiving ritual reaffirmed the mission of KAILASA: to revive the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization by preserving and participating in authentic Hindu spiritual technologies.

Later that same evening, the Mandakpadi offering ritual continued within the ancient precincts of the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. The offering was devoutly presented to Lord Somasundereshwara (Paramashiva) with Meenakshi Amman (Parashakti) during their chariot procession through the Adi Vidhi, along with offerings dedicated to all Shatmoorthis (the six important forms of Paramashiva revered in the temple tradition). These combined efforts—both receiving the procession outside and supporting the core temple rituals inside—demonstrated KAILASA's dedication to integrating seamlessly into the local, living traditions of Hindu civilization.

This sacred seva activity exemplified the principles of spiritual commitment and conscious action taught by THE SPH. Two dedicated volunteers carried out the intricate preparations and offerings, directly contributing to THE SPH’s humanitarian and spiritual mission. The blessings received during this Arudra Darshan enriched the lives of 5 individuals, connecting participants with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva through traditional Hindu rituals. Due to the strict security protocols and the rule prohibiting mobile devices for visitors within the Madurai Minakshi Temple, the visual documentation of the Mandakpadi offering inside the temple premises could not be captured.
