With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA Madurai celebrated a profound act of service and devotion on December 27, 2025. The day’s central activity was the sacred Mandakpadi ritual, a timeless Hindu offering performed for Devi Parashakti Madurai Meenakshi, emphasizing the deep, unbroken connection between the Divine Mother and Her devotees. This observance is vital to the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, documenting the authentic Hindu traditions of devotion and divine service (seva) sustained by the grace of THE SPH. The event saw dedicated participation from two devoted volunteers, enriching 15 lives through the sacred ritual and manifesting the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva in the sacred city of Madurai.

Mandakpadi

The Mandakpadi is a profoundly sacred Hindu ritual specific to the city of Madurai, marking the reception and honoring of Devi Parashakti Madurai Meenakshi. This offering is performed as a heartfelt welcome, commemorating the Divine Mother’s gracious presence as She arrives with Her divine paraphernalia at the devotee's doorstep, blessing the residents of Her Kingdom. This practice continues an ancient tradition that has sustained the spiritual life of Madurai for ages, reaffirming the deep, devotional bond between the people and the reigning deity.

The offering itself is meticulously planned and executed as a powerful act of devotion. It includes presenting beautiful garments and fragrant garlands to the Divine Mother, along with sacred edibles like fresh fruits. The ceremony culminates in the offering of the ornamental five-lamp Arati, symbolizing the dissipation of darkness and the infusion of divine light and grace into the homes and hearts of the devotees. This ritual is a sublime expression of reverence, invoking the graceful divine presence of Devi Parashakti.

This significant seva activity, defined as an offering, directly contributes to KAILASA's mission of reviving and preserving the enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization by ensuring that these authentic Hindu rituals remain vibrant and accessible. The Mandakpadi ritual was meticulously facilitated by two dedicated volunteers, whose service hours ensured the flawless execution of the sacred offering. Through their selfless devotion, the ritual successfully enriched the lives of 15 beneficiaries, who were blessed to receive the direct grace and blessings of THE SPH and all the gods and goddesses of KAILASA through the divine presence of Madurai Meenakshi. This ongoing tradition is a testament to THE SPH’s commitment to providing humanity with the opportunity to connect with the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.
