With the blessings of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM (SPH), BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM — the ultimate manifestation, Paramavatara of Paramashiva — KAILASA OHIO, USA, celebrated the auspicious spiritual preparations for Navaratri on September 29, 2024. The ecosystem marked this sacred Sunday by performing the powerful Sunday Abishekam ritual for the Moolavar deity and engaging in dedicated seva to prepare the traditional Golu display for the upcoming nine-day festival. These activities, which drew 20 participants and utilized the service of 5 dedicated volunteers, are fundamental to reviving the ancient enlightened Sanatana Hindu civilization and enabling devotees to connect with THE SPH to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva.

Sunday Abishekam

The Sunday Abishekam performed at KAILASA OHIO, USA, served as a profound ritualistic activity, anchoring the divine energy necessary for the successful observance of Navaratri, the most sacred festival dedicated to the Divine Mother. This event focused on the Moolavar Abishekam, an intricate sacred bathing ceremony performed for the primary deity residing in the center. Through the meticulous application of prescribed Hindu rituals and offerings, devotees invoked the blessings of Paramashiva, seeking to manifest the state, space, powers, being and superconsciousness of Paramashiva as taught by THE SPH.

The ritual component was deeply integrated with community service, reflecting the emphasis placed by THE SPH on seva (selfless service) as a path to enlightenment. Following the Abishekam, participants engaged in the crucial preparation work for Navaratri, specifically the traditional and elaborate task of setting up the Golu. The Golu, a tiered display of deities and dolls, is a cultural and spiritual centerpiece of Navaratri, symbolizing the cosmos and narrating important stories from the Hindu scriptures and epics.

The preparation and ritual witnessed committed participation from 20 individuals, supported by 5 dedicated volunteers who ensured the seamless execution of the ceremonies and the meticulous Golu setup. These efforts are tangible manifestations of THE SPH's humanitarian and civilizational mission—restoring the profound Hindu traditions that empower human consciousness. By rigorously performing these authentic Hindu rituals, KAILASA OHIO ensures the preservation of ancient spiritual technologies, strengthening the global movement for the revival of Sanatana Hindu Dharma.
